The Muslim's Memory and the Russian Bear's Card in the Levant
A Conflict That Does Not Lapse With Time

Comment:
Russia came with its cavalry and infantry to Syria during the Syrian revolution after the Syrian regime failed to control the land and the rebels, and its influence began to shrink little by little, and with its summoning of Iran and its followers, led by its party in Lebanon, and despite the prevalence of killing and the filling of prisons, detention centers, and basements of security services, and despite the displacement and forced deportation, the revolution was only growing in intensity and expansion at the expense of the regime, which was foreshadowing its decline, defeat, and departure.
Here, America brought Russia, whose president Putin said: "If we had not intervened in Syria, the caliphate would have been at our doors and borders." Putin committed massacres that made foreheads sweat and reflected a deep hatred of Islam and Muslims. Neighborhoods and villages were erased from Syria, and tens of thousands of our people were killed in it.
The Muslim's memory is filled with these bloody images; images of bereaved mothers and torn limbs, the torments and screams of free women who were raped, images of prisons filled with their detainees, images of the instruments of oppression and tyranny and those who revel in the screams of displaced people who were swallowed by the seas, eaten by ferocious beasts, and their corpses torn by hungry dogs.
As for those who go to the criminal, the aggressor, and the violator of sanctities in order to shake his hand and take souvenir photos with him and consider it a heroic act, this cannot be a free Muslim, a slave of Allah! What is the difference between him and Bashar al-Assad, against whom the people of the Levant revolted?!
I don't think there is any difference at all, but this is more humiliating and despicable. All the blood and torment of our people, the rape of our free women, and the massive destruction he inflicted on the jewel of the Islamic countries, and the best of those whom the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ, praised, who said: "THE ANGELS SPREAD THEIR WINGS OVER AL-SHAM," and said: "O ALLAH, BLESS US IN OUR SHAM," all this aggression and what followed it and the bases he built on its land go in vain in exchange for walking on a red carpet. How cheap are these insignificant people about whom our noble Messenger ﷺ told us! It was said: And what is the insignificant person? He said: "THE FOOLISH MAN SPEAKS IN MATTERS OF PUBLIC CONCERN."
