Reducing Islamic Education Classes in Favor of Music and Sports in Syrian Schools!
News:
Controversy continues in Syria against the backdrop of the Ministry of Education's recent decision to reduce Islamic education classes from four periods a week to only two, coinciding with the start of the school year. Some described this move as aiming to "diversify educational activities" and give students more space for music and sports, while others considered it to weaken the educational role of the subject and affect students' religious achievement.
In the corridors of Syrian schools, students began to feel a clear change in their class schedules with the reduction of Islamic education and the increase in time allocated to music and sports. However, the decision sparked widespread discontent in society, as teachers and parents expressed their rejection of the reduction, while educational experts believe that the decision may have positive dimensions if implemented flexibly. Comment:
Schools and emerging generations are targeted in all Muslim countries, and the path that the regimes in them take in this field is almost the same because it comes within the framework of responding to Western dictates under the threat of stopping funding and imposing sanctions. So we see them changing the curricula to become secular and free of incitement to jihad, and accepting coexistence with the Jewish entity. They remove from it the verses and hadiths that urge jihad and talk about the concept of allegiance and disavowal in Islam, and they introduce the terms of the CEDAW agreements and children's rights, and they focus on the concept of gender, and they focus on extracurricular activities and competitions, most of which focus on dancing and singing, and you see them reducing the number of Islamic education classes in favor of art, music and sports classes. Therefore, these transformations that the Ahmed Al-Shar’ government has begun to implement do not deviate from this general line, which aims to secularize the education curricula in Muslim countries and proceed in corrupting the emerging generations and diluting their Islamic identity.
The people of Syria, who have suffered from the injustice and criminality of the Al-Assad family for decades, and came out with a blessed revolution to overthrow the regime of the criminal Bashar, raising the slogan "It is for Allah, it is for Allah" and "Our leader forever is our master Muhammad," and made great sacrifices for that, did not make them to continue to be governed by a secular constitution, and did not make them for the policy of crime and silencing mouths to continue, and they are imprisoned for decades in secret trials for saying a word of truth, and they did not make them so that one of its fruits would be normalization with the Jewish entity and the conclusion of security agreements with it, and they did not make them in order for education curricula and systems to be secularized and their children to study sports and music instead of learning the rulings of their religion!
O people of Sham, the heartland of Islam:
Do not accept anything less than being governed by Islam in all aspects of your life, and do not accept that the colonizers and their tools continue to reap the fruits of your blessed revolution, and do not accept rulers who have mortgaged themselves to the West and offered him obedience, so restore your revolution to its course and do not accept bowing except to Allah, and realize yourselves and your children before it is too late.
﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah comes in between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.﴾
