Trump's statements regarding the displacement of Gaza residents expose the client regimes that rule our countries
News:
Al-Masry Al-Youm stated on its website on Sunday, September 7, 2025, that the Egyptian Foreign Minister affirmed that the Rafah crossing will not be a crossing point for the displacement of Palestinians, but its role is limited to the entry of individuals into Gaza and humanitarian and medical aid. He said that the occupation has five other crossings that it can use if it insists on displacement, and it must bear its legal and moral responsibility. He reiterated Egypt's rejection of expansionist policies and the use of starvation as a weapon, stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire and acceptance of the American proposal to stop the aggression. He pointed out that the only solution to achieve peace is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, considering that displacement is a red line for Egypt, Jordan and the Arab countries, stressing that this issue is a dividing line that cannot be crossed.
Comment:
The statement of the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel-Aati, sparked widespread controversy when he said, "Those who want to displace the Palestinian people have 5 other crossings, but Egypt will not bear that historical responsibility." With this statement, the minister wanted to show Egypt as categorically rejecting the idea of displacement through its territory, but scrutiny of reality and the nature of the Egyptian regime's policies reveals that this rejection is nothing more than part of an American management of the crisis, and not an expression of a principled position or a legal and political commitment to the issue of Palestine.
Since the outbreak of the recent war on Gaza, the Egyptian role has been revealed in its true form as a partner in the siege, preventing the entry of weapons, controlling the borders, and securing the Jewish entity from any possible movement from Sinai or any of the Egyptian people. Egypt did not truly open the Rafah crossing for the passage of food or medical supplies except to the extent permitted by the Jewish entity and America. Rather, it was a witness and participant in the starvation of the people of Gaza, which forced them to eat animal feed, while hundreds of trucks lined up at the crossing gate and were not allowed to enter except according to the conditions of the occupation.
From here, the Egyptian regime's refusal to displace the people of Gaza through the Rafah crossing is not a defense of Gaza, but is due to basic considerations, including:
1- American Will: It does not want a mass displacement that opens the door to a complete collapse of the political scene in Gaza and the West Bank, and turns the issue into a refugee crisis that is difficult to control, which threatens the security of the Jewish entity. Therefore, the Egyptian regime is moving within the lines drawn by America, not within an independent sovereign decision.
2- Fear of the Egyptian People: The regime realizes that the entry of hundreds of thousands of Gazans who adhere to struggle and jihad will export a living state of resistance to the hearts of the Egyptians, who are already suffering from economic and political oppression. This is what the regime fears, because it realizes that the mixing of Gaza's Mujahideen with the people of Egypt will restore their spirit of jihad against the Jews.
3- Fear of Scandal in front of the people: If the regime opened the door to displacement, it would be an open partner in handing over Gaza to the Jews after its involvement in the siege was exposed. Therefore, it hides behind the discourse of rejecting displacement while continuing its more dangerous role, which is preventing any military or popular movement to support Gaza.
The issue of Palestine is not measured by the borders created by colonialism, nor by the Rafah crossing or the occupation crossings. The land of Palestine is an Islamic land of Kharaj, opened by the Muslims with their blood, so it belongs to the entire nation, and not only to the people of Palestine. Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him, said, "The land opened by force is for all Muslims." Ibn Qudamah said, "The land of force is not permissible to own or sell, because it has become an endowment for Muslims." It is therefore a trust in the neck of the entire nation.
The Sharia has obligated Muslims to defend any Islamic land that is exposed to invasion, and has made defending it an individual obligation. Al-Nawawi said: "If the infidels enter a country of Muslim countries, jihad becomes an individual obligation on everyone." Al-Mawardi affirmed: "Jihad is an obligation of sufficiency, so if the infidels descend on a country, it becomes an obligation on everyone." Accordingly, what is required of Egypt and its army, by virtue of their proximity and strength, is to move immediately to liberate all of Palestine, not to stand on the borders guarding the Jews, or restricting the people of Gaza in their livelihood.
The crisis of Palestine, and all the crises of the nation, are linked to the absence of the comprehensive state, the second righteous Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood. If the Muslims had a Caliph who moved the armies as Al-Mu'tasim, Saladin and Muhammad al-Fatih did, Gaza would not remain besieged, nor Jerusalem occupied. It is the duty of the nation today to work to establish the Caliphate that unites the ranks of Muslims, mobilizes their energies, liberates their land, and makes supporting Palestine a central issue that is not subject to compromise.
