Mourning the Carrier of the Da'wah

﴿Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death],

and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [their commitment] in the least.﴾

Hizb ut-Tahrir in the province of Tunisia mourns one of its men from the carriers of the Da'wah, Professor Hassan Nouri, who passed away today, Friday, the twenty-fourth of Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to 2025/6/20 AD, after a struggle with illness, which confined his body but did not extinguish the flame of his message or his determination to work in the ranks of those working to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the Righteous Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood.

Uncle Hassan Nouri took over the editorship of Al-Tahrir newspaper, and he, may God have mercy on him, did not compromise on a word of truth, and did not fear the blame of a critic in God's cause. His articles recorded unparalleled positions, and he confronted the tyranny of falsehood with the truth. He remained loyal in his last illness to the covenant of the honest word that does not compromise and does not remain silent in a time of silence.

We ask God Almighty to accept him among the righteous, to raise his rank in the highest ranks, and to inspire his family, relatives, loved ones, and all his comrades with patience, steadfastness, and anticipation of reward.

﴿Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.﴾
