The call of all the messengers and the prophets who followed them are legal rulings and not intellectual, and all of them were through thought, speech, and miracles. If the origin of the call was through material actions, Muhammad ﷺ would have worked with the idols of Mecca as Abraham did before. Allah Almighty said: ﴿For each of you We made a law and a method.﴾ So, our Prophet's call was through thought, starting with making people understand the creed of Islam and its rulings, forming a bloc of those who believed, then openly proclaiming the call to all people, and addressing the masses with general actions through intellectual struggle, political struggle, and seeking support, so the Ansar embraced the idea and established the state.
