The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced, "Recording 2,345 new cases of cholera, including 21 deaths, bringing the number of infections to 96,681 since August 2024." The Sudanese Health Ministry stated in a statement that "most of the infections are from the Tawila area in North Darfur State, in the west of the country," bringing the number of infections to 96,681, including 2,408 deaths, in all states (18 states). Tens of thousands of Sudanese people are facing difficult humanitarian conditions in North Kordofan State, which prompted them to flee to the city of Al-Abyad.
