The Emirate – Part Three

We greet you all, dear listeners, and begin with the best greeting, peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

It was mentioned in Muslim in his Sahih, may God have mercy on him

Narrated Qutaiba bin Saeed and Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah, they said: Hatim narrated to us, and he is Ibn Ismail, from Al-Muhajir bin Mismar, from Amer bin Saad bin Abi Waqqas, who said: I wrote to Jabir bin Samra with my servant Nafi' to inform me of something he heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: He wrote to me, "I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a Friday evening when Al-Aslami was stoned, saying: "The religion will continue to exist until the Hour comes, or there will be twelve caliphs over you, all of them from Quraysh." And I heard him say: "A group of Muslims will conquer the White House, the House of Kisra or the family of Kisra." And I heard him say: "Before the Hour there will be liars, so beware of them." And I heard him say: "If God gives one of you good, then let him start with himself and his family." And I heard him say: "I am the first at the Cistern."

The saying of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: (I am the first at the Cistern)

(Al-Farat) with a Fatha on the Raa, and it means: the one who precedes to it and waits to give you water from it. Al-Farat and Al-Farit is: the one who precedes the people to the water to prepare for them what they need.

O best nation brought forth for mankind:-

He is the beloved Prophet, the best of God's creation and the guide of mankind, he shook the thrones of the oppressors and their immorality, and shattered the idols, he carried the trust from his Lord and went on and was the Imam, he taught humanity piety and mercy and strived to spread the truth and said this is lawful and that is forbidden, and secured every fearful person for his money, honor and blood.

O loved ones in God: -

The Cistern is a meeting place for every aggrieved person, the Cistern is a meeting place for everyone who is not given his right, the Cistern is a meeting place for those who worked to glorify the religion of God on earth by ruling by His book and the Sunnah of His beloved, the Cistern is a meeting place for those who carried Islam to the entire world under the caliphate, the Cistern is a meeting place for those who deserve martyrdom by fulfilling the trust, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say to the Companions at the end of his life ((I am your predecessor, and I am a witness over you, and I am looking at my Cistern now, and I have been given the keys to the treasures of the earth, or the keys to the earth, and by God, I do not fear that you will associate partners with God after me, but I fear that you will compete in it)) Sahih Al-Bukhari.

The Cistern is the Cistern of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the Cistern is an honor and a great blessing on his Messenger in the Hereafter. It is the one about whom God said: We have given you Al-Kawthar, and Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise, from which two spouts pour into the Cistern of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so that the believers may continue to drink sensually as they drank in the world the spiritual drink of guidance and following him, peace and blessings be upon him, otherwise they will be driven away from it and expelled as a fitting reward ... When people come out of their graves, their heads dusty, their feet bare, their bodies naked, they will be gathered in the gathering place, and the sun will be close to their heads, and they will be afflicted with thirst, as they are afflicted, the most in need of a sip of water to quench their thirst, and there will be the Cistern in the land of the gathering place.

This Cistern that will be on the Day of Resurrection in a place and time when people are most in need of it, as people suffer from worry, grief, distress, sweat and heat, which makes them in dire need of water, so they come to the Cistern of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

It is a great Cistern in the position of the Resurrection, its water is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, colder than ice, and smells better than musk, and it has utensils like the number of stars in the sky, whoever drinks from it a drink will never thirst after it, and the texts indicate that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has a Cistern, and that its length is the distance of a month and its width is the distance of a month; a distance that the rider walks in its length for a month, and in its width for a month. The Cistern is indicated by many hadiths, including his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: (My Cistern is between Aila -in the Levant- and Aden -in Yemen-) and in another wording: (I have a Cistern as between Aila and Basra)

People come to it - the believers - :-

So they drink, he said, peace and blessings be upon him: "I am your predecessor at the Cistern" meaning I precede you, the predecessor: the advanced one who precedes the caravan, and prepares for them what they need, he said: "I am your predecessor" meaning: I precede you to the Cistern, and I wait for you there, and I prepare to meet you "I am your predecessor at the Cistern."

And people come to it:-

So they are driven away and banished as thirsty camels are banished; because they changed and altered, they kept going back on their heels and invented things in Islam that are not from it.

And it is said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: You do not know what they invented after you. And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: ((Whoever introduces into this matter of ours what is not from it, it is rejected))

Al-Qurtubi, may God have mercy on him, said: (The most severely expelled are those who oppose the Muslim community and deviate from its path, ... as well as the tyrants who are excessive in injustice and oppression, obliterating the truth, killing its people and humiliating them)

Because of his saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "Men will be brought - people will come to me - in a wording - I know them and they know me - so they will be banished - meaning they will be expelled - as thirsty camels are banished" they are turned away, thirsty they come to the Cistern thirsty, they have severe thirst, so they are expelled and banished, the angels expel them with sticks "as thirsty camels are banished" so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says: "O Lord, my companions, my companions" and in a wording: "my little companions, my little companions" so it is said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: You do not know what they invented after you, they have been constantly apostatizing on their heels since I left them, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says: "Away, away - and in a narration, a curse, a curse - to those who changed after me." In the two Sahihs

O best nation brought forth for mankind:- The matter is serious (It is a decisive word, and it is not a joke) Have mercy, then have mercy, O Lord

What have you prepared for the Cistern? And what have you prepared to meet the beloved, peace and blessings be upon him, at the Cistern? So let us fear, O servant of God, that we will be expelled from the Cistern on the Day of the Greatest Thirst? The Cistern is forbidden to drink from for the people of transgression and immorality? Renew the covenant with God, that the Cistern is only returned to by the sincere believers? The scholars said: Everyone who apostatizes from the religion of God or introduces into it what God does not approve of and has not authorized, is among those expelled from the Cistern, and the most severely expelled are the tyrants who are excessive in injustice and oppression, obliterating the truth and humiliating its people, those who are not ashamed of people, and are not ashamed of God.

And he, peace and blessings be upon him, says: ((I am your predecessor at the Cistern, so beware, let not one of you come and be driven away from me as the lost camel is driven away, so I say: Why is this? So it is said: You do not know what they invented after you, so I say, a curse)) Narrated by Muslim in his Sahih. And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: ((I am your predecessor at the Cistern, whoever passes by me drinks, and whoever drinks never thirsts, and people will come to me, I know them and they know me, then they will be separated between me and them, so I say: They are from me, so it is said: You do not know what they invented after you, so I say: a curse, a curse, to those who changed after me)).

My loved ones in God:-

The Cistern is our appointment with the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him. The Cistern is the abode of the people of faith before entering Paradise. The Cistern quenches the thirst of the thirsty. At the Cistern, the fearful are safe, and the sad are happy. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stands at the Cistern, with Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, Ali, and the rest of the honorable Companions. The leaders of the nation and its scholars stand at the Cistern. The reformers of the nation and its preachers are watered from the Cistern. The Cistern is the beginning of the believer’s joy in the Hereafter, because no one returns to it unless he has been saved from a great horror and a severe distress.

Imam Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi narrated from the hadith of Al-Nadr bin Anas from Anas who said: I asked the Messenger of God to intercede for me? He said: ((I will do it. I said: Where should I seek you? He said: Seek me first when you seek me on the Sirat. I said: What if I do not find you? He said: I am at the Balance. I said: What if I do not find you? He said: I am at the Cistern)).

O best of the messengers and Imam of the Mujahideen, and the Qibla of the lovers, O best of creation and the guide of guidance until the Day of Judgment and the path of the seekers, be our intercessor when the Day comes, for who besides you after God intercedes for us and who else is the Imam, O God, do not deprive us of a pleasant drink from the Cistern of Your Prophet, and do not deprive us of his intercession and make us among those who attain the honor of accompanying him in the Gardens of Bliss. O God, we ask You for a pleasant drink from the Cistern of our Prophet, never to thirst after it, O God, a mercy by which You guide our hearts, O God, bless our master Muhammad in the first and the last and in the highest assembly until the Day of Judgment.

Dear listeners, and until we meet you with another Prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

With the Hadith

Do you know who is bankrupt?

May Allah greet you, our dear listeners, listeners of the radio of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir. We meet you again with our program "With the Hadith," and the best way to start our episode is with the greeting of Islam, so peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

It is mentioned in Musnad Ahmad - Remainder of the Musnad of the Prolific Narrators - that the bankrupt of my nation is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with fasting, prayer, and charity, but he comes having insulted this person, slandered this person, and consumed the wealth of this person.

Narrated 'Abd al-Rahman from Zuhair from al-'Ala' from his father from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Do you know who is bankrupt?" They said: "The bankrupt among us, O Messenger of Allah, is the one who has no dirham or goods." He said: "Indeed, the bankrupt of my nation is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with fasting, prayer, and charity, but he comes having insulted this person, slandered this person, and consumed the wealth of this person. So he will sit, and this one will take from his good deeds, and that one will take from his good deeds, and if his good deeds are exhausted before he settles what is owed to him of sins, their sins will be taken and cast upon him, then he will be thrown into the Fire."

This hadith, like other important hadiths, must be understood and realized. Some people are bankrupt despite their prayers, fasting, and zakat, because they insulted this person, slandered this person, consumed the wealth of this person, shed the blood of this person, and beat this person.

His bankruptcy is that his good deeds, which are his capital, are taken and given to this one and used to pay off that one for the price of his slander, insult, and beating. After his good deeds are exhausted before he settles what is owed, their sins are taken and cast upon him, then he is thrown into the Fire.

When the Prophet, peace be upon him, asked his companions, "Do you know who is bankrupt?" "Do you know" means knowledge and awareness of the inner workings of things. "Do you know" means "Do you really know who is bankrupt?" This confirms the saying of our master Ali, may Allah honor his face: "Wealth and poverty are after the presentation to Allah." When they were asked this question, they answered based on their experiences: "The bankrupt among us is the one who has no dirham or goods." This is the bankrupt in the eyes of the companions of the Messenger of Allah. So he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No... HE SAID: "INDEED, THE BANKRUPT OF MY NATION IS THE ONE WHO COMES ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION WITH FASTING, PRAYER, AND CHARITY..."

This confirms the saying of our master Umar: "Whoever wishes may fast, and whoever wishes may pray, but it is righteousness," because prayer, fasting, Hajj, and zakat are acts of worship that a person may do with sincerity, or he may do them hypocritically, but the center of gravity is to adhere to the command of Allah.

We ask Allah to keep us steadfast on the truth, and make us of His righteous servants, and replace our bad deeds with good deeds, and not disgrace us on the Day of Presentation to Him, O Allah, Amen.

Our dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we entrust you to Allah, whose deposits are never lost. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

With the Hadith - The Hypocrites and Their Evil Deeds

With the Hadith

The Hypocrites and Their Evil Deeds

We greet you all, dear friends, everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting: Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

It was narrated from Buraidah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do not call a hypocrite 'Sayyid' (master), for if he is a master, then you have angered your Lord, the Almighty and Sublime." Narrated by Abu Dawood with a Sahih (authentic) chain of narration.

Dear listeners,

Indeed, the best of speech is the word of God Almighty, and the best guidance is the guidance of His Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, peace and blessings be upon him. Now then,

This noble Hadith guides us on how to deal with the hypocrites we know. The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the only one who knew all the hypocrites by their names, but we can recognize some of them by their characteristics, such as those mentioned in the Quran who perform their obligatory duties lazily and grudgingly, and those who plot against Islam and Muslims, encourage strife, spread corruption on earth, and love to spread immorality by calling for it, protecting it, and nurturing it, and those who tell lies about Islam and Muslims... and others who are characterized by hypocrisy.

Therefore, we must understand what the Sharia (Islamic law) has deemed good and what it has deemed bad, so that we can distinguish the hypocrite from the sincere, and take appropriate action towards them. We should not trust those who do what contradicts the Sharia while pretending to do what they do out of concern for Islam and Muslims. We should not follow them or support them, or even less than that, by describing them as "Sayyid," otherwise God Almighty will be angry with us.

We Muslims must be the most keen people on Islam and Muslims, and not allow any hypocrite an entry point into our religion and our families, as they are among the most dangerous things we may face these days due to their abundance and the multiplicity of their faces. We must use the Sharia scale to measure the actions of those who claim to be Muslims, for Islam protects us from such evildoers.

We ask God to protect our nation from such criminals, and to guide us to the straight path and the correct scale by which we measure people's behavior, so that we stay away from those whom God does not love. Amen.

Dear friends, until we meet you with another prophetic Hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
