The Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed that Sudan has begun fundamental steps towards civil and democratic stability by appointing a civilian prime minister for the transitional government, considering this step a clear expression of a national will to rebuild state institutions on comprehensive civil foundations.
