Al-Radar: There is no stability except under the Caliphate state
By Professor/Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil)
The Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed that Sudan has begun fundamental steps towards civil and democratic stability by appointing a civilian prime minister for the transitional government, considering this step a clear expression of a national will to rebuild state institutions on comprehensive civil foundations. (Sudan News, 7/1/2025)
Al-Burhan is talking about the beginning of fundamental steps towards civil and democratic stability, by appointing a civilian prime minister, and he means by that the appointment of Dr. Kamel Idris, who was appointed on 5/19/2025 as prime minister, as it was said with full powers, and he was sworn in on 5/31/2025 AD, and it was said that he would form his government without interference from anyone, and that he would form the government before the end of June 2025 AD. This step by Al-Burhan was to give legitimacy to his military regime, in light of the demand for a civilian government, and the period announced by Prime Minister Kamel Idris has passed, to form a government without interventions before the end of last month, and the month has passed and the government that Kamel Idris called the Government of Hope has not been formed, and the main reason for this is the insistence of the ministers of the armed movements allied with the military since 2020 AD, after signing what was called the Juba Peace Agreement, their insistence on remaining in their positions without change, because the Juba Agreement gives them 25% of the power.
The debate has begun over the past period, and it is still going on, about the share of these movements, especially the Justice and Equality Movement (Gabriel) and the Sudan Liberation Movement (Minnawi). This that is happening confirms that power for those in charge of ruling Sudan, both old and new, is nothing but booty and a cake that must be divided among themselves, and therefore the conflict over it intensifies so that each team takes its share of it, and this negates Al-Burhan's talk about stability as long as their understanding of power is that it is booty and a cake.
The situation will not change, whether the rule is civil or military, unless the mentality of the military, politicians, and others changes about the concept of power, and they should know that Islam has determined that power is a trust and a responsibility, and that it is the right of the nation that it gives to those who govern it with the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ, and takes care of its affairs with justice and righteousness, under a state that Islam has defined as a caliphate according to the method of prophecy. The Prophet ﷺ says about power: «IT IS A TRUST AND IT WILL BE A DISGRACE AND REGRET ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION, EXCEPT FOR THE ONE WHO TAKES IT WITH ITS RIGHT AND FULFILLS WHAT IS UPON HIM IN IT», and he, peace and blessings be upon him, says: «THE IMAM WHO IS OVER THE PEOPLE IS A SHEPHERD AND HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS FLOCK». Therefore, Al-Burhan and all politicians, if they were serious and keen on the stability of Sudan, should return to the rulings of the great Islam and establish the second righteous Caliphate state according to the method of prophecy, and renounce the systems of the infidel, colonialist West.
