Australia's Conditional Recognition of Palestine

A Reward for the Jewish Entity for Genocide, Not a Victory for the Oppressed

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has officially announced Australia's readiness to recognize a Palestinian state. He personally contacted both Mahmoud Abbas and Benjamin Netanyahu beforehand, as if seeking to appease the criminals responsible for decades of crime before making the decision.

Albanese recently stated that the recognition of a Palestinian state is conditional on Palestine's recognition of the occupation, its acceptance of permanent borders, the disarmament of the future Palestinian state, and the complete elimination of Hamas and all resistance efforts it represents.

The Australian government's proposal is nothing more than a reward for the Jewish entity for genocide. It is the presentation of a hollow, fake state, deprived of the ability to defend itself, forced to cede its occupied land, subjected to the guardianship of Western powers in determining who governs it, and forced to normalize relations with a brutal, criminal entity.

These are not conditions of justice, but rather the very goals that the Jewish entity and America have been pursuing after nearly two years of genocide. Australia is only trying to help push for a diplomatic surrender after the occupation failed to achieve it militarily, hoping that the illusion of a Palestinian state will succeed in being the carrot after the stick of genocide has been used.

The irony is that Australia has announced its desire to recognize a Palestinian state, but it fails to recognize the Palestinians themselves. The government's policy of dehumanization and victim-blaming has made the suffering of the Palestinians invisible, and the crimes of the occupier unpunished. Australia only sought to recognize Palestine after most Palestinians had been killed or displaced, when there was nothing left to recognize.

The world is rightly horrified that the occupation is now on the verge of implementing the "final solution" in Palestine. As for Australia, it is making a frantic effort to pretend to be innocent of its complicity in the crime, but in doing so, it only confirms its condemnation. The Zionist-Western alliance has been exposed to the world, and no speeches or symbolic gestures will be able to hide its ugly reality.
