Australian Intelligence Chief Promotes Stupid Justifications for the Criminal Entity

The Director-General of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO), Mike Burgess, delivered a speech at the Lowy Institute yesterday, dedicating it to renewing the Australian government's cover for the genocidal entity that usurps the blessed land of Palestine. His speech included a series of repetitive statements taken from the government's and pro-genocide supporters' discourse, warning of "threats to social cohesion," "rising anti-Semitism," and "normalization of political violence." He even went so far as to warn of possible "politically motivated assassinations directed from overseas" within Australia!

In his failed attempt to switch the roles of victim and executioner, Burgess mentioned Hizb ut-Tahrir as an example of a group that "exploits tensions around Gaza," saying: "While Hizb ut-Tahrir is religiously motivated, its provocative behaviour, offensive rhetoric and insidious strategy are very similar to the tactics of a neo-Nazi network. Its condemnation of (Israel) and the Jews attracts media attention and serves recruitment, but it deliberately stops short of calling for direct political violence. Hizb ut-Tahrir wants to test the limits of the law without breaking it, and like the neo-Nazis, this does not make its behaviour acceptable. I fear its anti-(Israel) rhetoric fuels and normalizes wider narratives of anti-Semitism."

In this context, Hizb ut-Tahrir / Australia would like to clarify the following:

1-  Delivering this speech at the Lowy Institute - which was founded by the extremist Zionist and supporter of genocide, Frank Lowy - makes it very clear what the Australian government means when it talks about "social cohesion". Burgess was surrounded by supporters of child killers and rapists of prisoners, who believe that it is "legitimate" to raze cities to the ground over the heads of their inhabitants, and if one of them remains alive, they have no objection to starving him to death. Social cohesion in their dictionary means that criminals are allowed to continue their crimes, while victims are asked to die in silence.

2-  Australia has always been a champion of genocide. Genocide was acceptable when Britain occupied this land in 1788, it was acceptable when Australia legislated the first genocide in Palestine in 1947, and it is also acceptable with the ongoing genocide since 2023. If all those crimes are "legal", then Burgess' talk about respecting the law becomes disgusting.

3-  Twenty years of the "war on terror" have revealed the extent to which Western countries can go to avoid the consequences of their crimes. Instead of taking responsibility, they destroyed entire countries, killed millions indiscriminately, and criminalized all opposition to these atrocities, even if it was just raising a voice against them. Today, the same scenario is being re-applied to absolve the criminal entity of its crimes, but this time the world is no longer fooled.

4-  Anti-Jewish entity sentiments are a global phenomenon, shared by people of all religions and races, all over the world, as a natural response to its criminality. This is why the accusation of "anti-Semitism" is only met with indifference and boredom.

5-  The claim that Hizb ut-Tahrir "exploits" the issue of Gaza is a trivialization and insult to sound minds and to Muslims, as it shows Muslims as incapable of independent political thinking or of seeing what the whole world sees, and therefore they are "naive victims" of obscure conspiracies. This trivialization is the basis upon which the policy of successive Australian governments in dealing with Muslims is based to justify their collective repression.

6-  Burgess' attack on Hizb ut-Tahrir is a propaganda campaign to intimidate Muslims, as the party represents one of the principled and steadfast voices in its rejection of the Jewish entity, and therefore the government and its allies seek to silence this voice through the constant threat of repressive laws and security prosecutions.

7-  Hizb ut-Tahrir's call is not only a call to lift the injustice against the people of the blessed land of Palestine and liberate it from the usurping Jews, but it is also a call to lift the injustice against all the oppressed in the world; Muslims and non-Muslims, who are oppressed by secular regimes that have made peoples miserable, impoverished them, subjugated them, and turned them into production mechanisms to serve greedy capitalist tycoons. Hizb ut-Tahrir's project is a civilizational alternative to greedy capitalism, not a system that governs in favor of a gang of one percent, as is the case in capitalist countries, especially Western countries. This is why Hizb ut-Tahrir calls for the establishment of the Rightly-Guided Caliphate on the Prophetic method, which governs according to what God has revealed, not only so that security, safety and justice prevail in the lands of Muslims, but throughout the world; and this is what the Creator has commanded us to do, and it is what pleases Him and admits us to Paradise.

8-  Burgess' attack on Hizb ut-Tahrir is part of the Islamophobia campaign waged by the Western media against Islam and Muslims, in order to mislead humanity and sound minds in the West about the truth of the great Islam, so that they do not turn away from the bankrupt Western civilization and choose the great Islam as a civilizational alternative, a sound way of life, and a religion from God in truth. Burgess here is like the ignorant polytheists of Quraysh who fabricated lies about the Messenger of God ﷺ to distort his image and message; did they succeed in that?! It is only a matter of time until people know the bad from the good.

9-  To clarify Islam's position on the issue of Palestine, which Muslims everywhere agree on, we affirm the following:

a-    Palestine is an Islamic land, and no one has the right to determine its fate except the Muslims themselves, according to the provisions of Sharia.

b-  Under Islamic rule, Palestine has always been home to Muslims, Jews, and Christians, and has witnessed the finest examples of human coexistence.

c-  Britain occupied Palestine and handed it over to the Jews in service of its colonial interests, then America adopted this project, and Islam will not recognize either the British or Zionist occupation, and Muslims will continue to reject all attempts at normalization and its existence.

d-  Palestine was occupied by military force, and the legitimate response to military aggression is military confrontation to liberate the blessed land of Palestine.

e-  The responsibility for liberating the blessed land of Palestine lies with the armies of the Muslims, for they are the sons of this land, and they have a duty to intervene militarily not only to deter the Jews but to liberate all of Palestine.
