The Militia Infection in Sudan is Heading North!

Since Friday, June 27, 2025, the media has reported that the Eritrean President, Isaias Afwerki, has agreed to train 50,000 fighters from the states of the Northern and River Nile, with advanced military training, at the request of the head of the Northern Entity, Muhammad Sayed Ahmed Al-Jakoumi, head of the Northern Track in the Juba Peace Agreement for Sudan.

We waited until Sunday, June 29, 2025, to see the government's reaction and its position on this disastrous news, and the response came as a shock. The head of the Northern Entity stated to a journalistic source; the investigator, that the army and security authorities had been informed of the order to train these forces, and said: "We are working on arrangements with them, and we cannot take any step without their approval"!

This announcement comes at a time when the specter of the division of Sudan looms, with the Rapid Support Forces controlling the Darfur states, and hinting at the declaration of a parallel government, and the control of regionalism and ethnicity over the political discourse, and the consolidation of quotas in power. At this time, Al-Burhan is proceeding to raise the slogan (a militia for each region), where a new militia is created with each new morning! Then, more seriously, the training of the militias for their members abroad; Eritrea, and Al-Jakoumi's announcement comes in this context!

We in Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, based on this shocking news, affirm the following:

First: We have repeatedly warned of the danger of the proliferation of armed militias, and that they are tools for the destruction of the state, and an entry point for the disbelieving colonizer seeking to fragment Sudan, and tear it apart through regionalism and racist tendencies, and here the absurd scene is completed by having northern Sudan also have a militia, like the rest of Sudan's regions!

Second: Islam has forbidden fighting under sectarian and blind banners, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever fights under a blind banner, gets angry for a sect, or calls to a sect, or supports a sect, and is killed, then he dies a death of ignorance."

Third: The talk that this militia or that will be under the command of the army is throwing dust in the eyes, as the beginnings always start like this, and then what happens is undesirable, and we have in the Rapid Support Forces the worst example of militia creation.

Fourth: By doing this, the government seeks to consolidate the plan of borders of blood, in implementation of the new American Sykes-Picot to tear apart what remains of Sudan.

The duty of the army is to immediately begin unifying all the armed forces spread throughout the country, under its banner only, to make it one strong force, capable of imposing the authority of the state, then giving victory to Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish the second righteous Caliphate on the method of Prophethood, and uniting the Ummah on the basis of the great Islam, and implementing the rulings of Islam, and uprooting the influence of the disbelieving colonizer from our country, and from all Muslim countries.
