At the invitation of the British Ambassador, Kumar Iyer, along with Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Norway, the UN Human Rights Council held a session on Friday, 11/14/2025, on the violations in the city of El Fasher. The Council unanimously adopted a resolution mandating the Independent Fact-Finding Mission, which was formed by the Council on 10/11/2023, to investigate the violations committed in the city, where the Council ordered it to identify all those involved, to help bring them to justice.
