Yesterday, Wednesday, the occupation forces released five young men out of seven from the village of Jabata al-Khashab in the Quneitra countryside, south of Syria.

The Hijri militia in the Suwayda governorate is still holding a number of women and children from the Bedouin tribes in detention centers distributed between the city of Suwayda, the town of Qanawat, and the city of Shahba, according to local sources. The sources explained that the detention took place on Thursday, July 17, in the village of Naba Ara, where nine individuals, women and children from one family, were taken away: Until the moment of preparing this report, their fate remains unknown, amid fears that they will be subjected to torture or transferred to secret detention locations.
The cities and towns of northern and eastern Aleppo, including Azaz, Al-Bab, Afrin, Jarabulus, Akhtarin, Al-Rai, Suran, and Mare', witnessed demonstrations and sit-ins organized by teachers under the slogan: "Disbursement of Salaries and Job Security is a Right for Every Teacher in the North", in protest against the delay in paying their salaries for three months and not being appointed to their jobs. The participants raised banners confirming that the continued procrastination in the procedures constitutes an insult to teachers, their efforts and sacrifices, while they directed criticism to the Director of Education of Aleppo, Anas Qassem, holding him a large part of the responsibility, and demanded his dismissal along with the Minister of Education, Muhammad Trakwa.

The official "Al-Ikhbariya" channel reported today, Wednesday, September 3, that the Syrian army thwarted an attempt by elements of the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) to infiltrate across the Euphrates River in the Maghla area in the eastern Raqqa countryside, where a number of its members were killed and wounded. This comes after the announcement by the Internal Security Forces in the Rif Dimashq governorate, on Tuesday, that they had carried out an ambush during which they were able to seize a shipment of weapons and ammunition heading to the "SDF" areas. The "SDF" did not comment through its official identifiers on the two incidents.
The head of the Turkish Nationalist Movement Party, Devlet Bahceli, stressed on Tuesday that there is an inevitable military intervention against the Syrian Democratic Forces if they do not abide by the March 10 agreement. Turkish President Erdogan said on the plane while returning from China: "Whoever tries to obstruct the existing path in Syria will pay the price." The National newspaper (based in the UAE) revealed that the United States has recently intensified its diplomatic efforts to avoid the outbreak of a wide conflict between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), noting a relative change in the American position towards the Kurds and other minorities. According to the newspaper, Washington has eased its previous pressure on the SDF after American officials rejected the latter's demand to establish a decentralized system of government, but it still insists that the Kurds make fundamental concessions. Sources told the newspaper that the SDF will eventually be forced to abandon its control over some of the Arab-majority areas in the east, as well as its monopoly on oil production.
