Hizb ut-Tahrir / Tanzania Launches Special Campaign
To Defend and Support the Islamic Creed
(Translated)
On Friday, 2 Muharram al-Haram 1447 AH, corresponding to June 27, 2025 AD, after Friday prayers, Hizb ut-Tahrir / Tanzania, through the media representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Tanzania, Masoud Muslim, launched a special nationwide campaign from Al-Rahma Mosque in Buguruni, Dar es Salaam.
The campaign, which will last for two months; from Muharram to Safar 1447 AH, aims to protect and defend the Islamic creed. This campaign comes in the wake of the influx, emergence, and spread of deviant movements that spread various corrupt ideas, whose ultimate hidden goal is to fight Islam and make Muslims doubt their religion.
This campaign aims to:
- Confront the idea of religious pluralism
- Confront the idea of paganism
- Confront the ideas of traditional religions and African religions
- Develop a correct understanding of the Islamic creed in its entirety
This campaign bears the slogan: "Reject the difference between religions, Christianity, paganism, and idolatry, and adhere to Islam," and the campaign will use various methods to promote itself and deliver its message to the public, including:
- Public dialogue on Islamic platforms
- Public dialogue with Christians and other parties that adopt beliefs hostile to Islam
- Writing and distributing public articles on electronic media
- Writing and sending open letters to various non-Islamic institutions and communities, to reveal the weaknesses of their ideas and explain the reality of Islam
- Sharing video clips on electronic media
- Taking advantage of Friday sermon platforms
- Issuing press releases
- Organizing sit-ins
- Broadcasting television and radio programs via the Internet, and others
Hizb ut-Tahrir in Tanzania calls on all segments of society to fully participate in this important campaign, as Muslims will be able to understand their religion more deeply, and non-Muslims will have a valuable opportunity to study and research Islam through arguments and rational proofs.
