Against India's Forced Deportation of Muslims to Bangladesh Under Threat of Arms

Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah Bangladesh organized today, Friday, July 4, 2025, after Friday prayers, protests and marches in several mosques in Dhaka and Chittagong, rejecting and denouncing India's forced deportation of Muslims to Bangladesh under threat of arms. A number of the party's youth delivered speeches during these vigils, followed by mass marches.

The Modi government has begun treating Muslims in India like animals, describing them as "illegal immigrants," demolishing their homes, and forcing them to leave the country to Bangladesh. Speakers at the vigils likened this behavior by the Hindu state of India (Hindutva) to what the usurping Jewish entity is doing to Muslims in Palestine.

The speakers criticized the current ruling and secular elites, stressing that they are seeking to cover up the truth of what is happening by attributing these acts of aggression to the deterioration of relations between India and Bangladesh after the fall of the tyrant Hasina. However, the facts confirm that these practices are not new, but rather part of an extended policy that includes killing on the borders, water aggression, and systematic persecution of Muslims inside India, from the demolition of the historic Babri Mosque to build a temple, to the erasure of Islamic heritage that extended for a thousand years, to demanding the removal of Aurangzeb's tomb, enacting the new citizenship law, updating the National Population Register, and other policies, confirming that the goal is to erase the identity of Muslims and displace them, as the Jewish entity does in Palestine. Allah Almighty said: ﴿You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah﴾.

The speakers explained that this arrogant behavior of the Hindu state of India towards Muslims has two main reasons:

First: Although the Muslims in this region share one creed and one blood, the British infidel colonialism divided them on a national basis (Indian, Bengali, Pakistani...) to weaken them, and then imposed secular regimes by proxy on them. Today, we see secular politicians and intellectuals protesting fiercely against the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh, but they hide like cats in the face of India's crimes against Muslims. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He is not one of us who calls for 'Asabiyyah, he is not one of us who fights for 'Asabiyyah, and he is not one of us who dies for 'Asabiyyah." Narrated by Abu Dawood.

Second: Today, India is just a regional agent of American infidel colonialism, and it is a member of the "Quad" military alliance in the Indian and Pacific Oceans region. Just as American colonialism uses the usurping Jewish entity in the Middle East to suppress the Islamic Ummah, it uses the Hindu state of India in South Asia for the same purpose.

The speakers stressed that it is the duty of Muslims in Sharia to support their Muslim brothers wherever they are subjected to aggression. Allah Almighty said: ﴿But if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help﴾ However, these ruling national secular regimes in Muslim countries are not protectors of the Ummah, they do not send armies to support Muslims in Palestine, Kashmir, or Arakan, but rather send their forces under the banner of the United Nations and under orders from America to shed the blood of Muslims!

At the conclusion of the vigils, the speakers called on Muslims to declare their position clearly, which is:

The persecution of Muslims all over the world is due to the absence of a true guardian of the Islamic Ummah, which is the Khilafah (Caliphate). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Imam is but a shield; people fight behind him and are protected by him." Narrated by Muslim. Therefore, we must unite to establish the Khilafah, without paying attention to these agent rulers. We must direct the call to the sincere sons of the Ummah in the armies, to give victory to the sincere party in this Ummah; Hizb ut-Tahrir, to establish the Righteous Khilafah on the method of Prophethood.
