Koshi News:

Speech of the Official Spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan at the Press Conference on Saturday, 22 Safar 1447 AH, corresponding to 16/08/2025 AD, entitled: "A Call to the People of Sudan... Save Darfur Before It Joins the South"

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Saturday, July 26, 2025, the formation of a parallel government to the existing government in Sudan, in the capital of South Darfur (Nyala). This move by the RSF is an advanced step in separating the Darfur region, which it controls, except for parts of the city of El Fasher, which it has been under a tight siege for more than a year, and it launches successive raids to bring it down, so that the entire Darfur region is under its control.

O people of Sudan:

America's series to separate Darfur began years ago, just as it was holding the file of South Sudan until it led it to secession from the North. Now it is proceeding with the same scenarios by which it separated the South to separate Darfur, as it began practically in that by signing the so-called peace agreement on 14/07/2011, and gave the Darfur region broad self-rule, and the issue of self-rule always remains a real beginning to proceed in the series of fragmentation, and despite the fact that it; that is, America, is the one who engineered this agreement, it did not consider it a final agreement, as the spokesman for its foreign ministry at the time, Mark Toner, said after signing the agreement: (This agreement is a step forward towards a permanent solution to the crisis in Darfur).

What confirms that America is the one who separated South Sudan, and seeks to fragment what remains of Sudan, is the statements of Omar al-Bashir, in his interview with the Russian Sputnik news agency, which was published on 11/25/2017, where he said: (The issues of Darfur and South Sudan found support from America, and under its pressure, South Sudan seceded), and added: (We have information now that the American endeavor is to divide Sudan into five countries), which confirms that America is the one who separated South Sudan, and is now seeking to separate Darfur, so if it succeeds - God forbid - it will tear apart the rest of the regions of Sudan one after the other, and it will do so to draw the borders of five countries in your country with your blood and the blood of your sons, as it did before by separating the South with the blood of 2 million of your people, and as it is doing now to separate Darfur with the blood of hundreds of thousands of you, so rise up, O people of Sudan, to thwart the plan, eradicate the agents and hypocrites, and correct the course of your lives.

O people of Sudan:

A believer is not stung from the same hole twice, and we have been stung by America by separating South Sudan, so will we allow it to separate Darfur?! Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said: «A BELIEVER IS NOT STUNG FROM THE SAME HOLE TWICE».

No country allows its regions to be torn apart, because in unity there is strength, and in separation there is weakness and humiliation. So how if Islam has made the issue of the unity of the Ummah, and the unity of its entity, a fateful issue, towards which a life or death action is taken? On the authority of Arfajah, he said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: «WHOEVER COMES TO YOU WHILE YOUR AFFAIRS ARE UNITED UNDER ONE MAN, WANTING TO BREAK YOUR STAFF, OR TO DIVIDE YOUR COMMUNITY, THEN KILL HIM».

O Muslims:

How can you remain silent about the fragmentation of your country and not move, and not make the unity of your country a fateful issue as your Prophet ﷺ commanded you?! Whom do you obey? Do you obey the infidel, colonizing America, or your beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?! God Almighty says: ﴿AND WHATEVER THE MESSENGER HAS GIVEN YOU - TAKE; AND WHAT HE HAS FORBIDDEN YOU - REFRAIN FROM. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in punishment.﴾, and He says: ﴿And obey Allah and obey the Messenger and beware. And if you turn away - then know that upon Our Messenger is only [the responsibility for] clear notification.﴾.

O Journalists:

Your mission is great in raising people's awareness of the dangers of fragmentation, so make your pens and media institutions a platform for awareness, exposing the plans of the infidel colonizers and their supporters who help them implement their conspiracies against our country and its unity, for you are trustees of telling the truth, and standing against falsehood, God Almighty says: ﴿Say, "Truth has come, and falsehood neither begins [anything] nor will it be restored."﴾.

O Politicians:

The responsibility to preserve the unity of the country is your first responsibility, as you are the leaders, and the heads of the people, so your standing against the projects of fragmentation and division is the protection, so do not be helpers of the infidel colonizer, so that he implements his conspiracies through you, God Almighty says: ﴿And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped.﴾.

O scholars, O heirs of the prophets:

Your responsibility in directing the leaders and rulers to the truth and what is right is great, so do not be mounts for them, giving fatwas according to what they desire, and do not remain silent about telling the truth no matter what the results, the Prophet ﷺ says: «WHOEVER CONCEALS KNOWLEDGE, GOD WILL BRAND HIM ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION WITH A BRIDLE OF FIRE», and you know that neglecting the unity of the Ummah and its entity is a great sin.

O officers and soldiers:

O you who have sworn to preserve the unity of your country, how do you allow it to be torn apart while you are watching?! For God will ask you about your covenant that you have made, God Almighty says: ﴿And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.﴾, so do not allow the secession of Darfur, and before that you neglected South Sudan, so remove the sin from your necks, stand in the way of America's plan, and move the army to thwart the plan to tear apart your country.

And know that these looming dangers, and the continuous conspiracies of the infidel colonizers, will have no effective antidote except by returning to the great Islam; creed, and life systems, and that will only be by establishing the state of Islam; the Caliphate, and that is only achieved by giving victory to Hizb ut-Tahrir, to establish it rightly upon the method of Prophethood, by which it cuts off the roots of the disbelievers and unites the countries of the Muslims.

God Almighty says: ﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.﴾.

The Radar: Whoever complains peacefully is punished, and whoever carries weapons, kills, and violates sanctities is given a share of power and wealth!

By Professor Ghada Abdul Jabbar (Um Awab)

Last week, primary school students in the city of Karima in the Northern State carried out a peaceful protest denouncing the interruption of electricity for several months, in a scorching summer. Consequently, the General Intelligence Service in Karima in the Marawi locality, northern Sudan, summoned female teachers on Monday after their participation in the protest against the power outage for nearly 5 months in the area. Aisha Awad, the principal of Obaid Allah Hammad School, told Sudan Tribune that "the General Intelligence Service summoned her and 6 other teachers," and stated that the education administration in Karima unit issued a decision to transfer her and the school's agent, Mashair Muhammad Ali, to other schools far away from the unit, because of participating in this peaceful protest. She explained that the school to which she and the school's agent were transferred requires 5,000 daily for transportation, while her monthly salary is 140,000. (Sudan Tribune, 08/11/2025)

Comment:

Whoever complains peacefully by standing respectfully in front of the official's office, holding up signs, demanding the simplest necessities of a decent life, is considered a threat to security and is summoned, investigated, and punished beyond endurance. As for those who carry weapons, conspire with foreign entities, kill, and violate sanctities, claiming they want to end marginalization, this criminal is honored, appointed as a minister, and given shares and quotas in power and wealth! Is there no wise man among you?! What is wrong with your judgment?! What imbalance is this, and what standards of justice are followed by those who have taken the seats of power by a trick of time?

These people have no connection to governance, and they consider every cry against them, believing that frightening the people is the best way to perpetuate their rule!

Since the departure of the British army, Sudan has been ruled by one system with two faces. The system is capitalism, and the two faces are democracy and dictatorship. Neither of these faces has reached what Islam has reached, which allows all the people - Muslim and non-Muslim - to complain about poor care. It even allows the non-Muslim to complain about the poor application of Islamic laws to them. The people must hold the ruler accountable for his shortcomings, and they must form parties based on Islam to hold the ruler accountable. Where are these influential people, who manage the affairs of the people with the mentality of spies who antagonize people, from the saying of Al-Farooq, may God be pleased with him: (May God bless those who point out my faults to me)?

I conclude with the story of the Caliph of the Muslims, Muawiyah, to be an example for those who punish teachers for their grievances, how the Caliph of the Muslims views his people and how he wants them to be men, because the strength of society is the strength of the state, and its weakness and fear is the weakness of the state, if only they knew.

A man named Jariya bin Qudama al-Saadi entered upon Muawiyah one day, who was then the Commander of the Believers, and with Muawiyah were three of Caesar of Rome's ministers. Muawiyah said to him: "Aren't you the one who worked with Ali in all his positions?" Jariya said: "Leave Ali alone, may God honor his face, for we have not hated Ali since we loved him, nor have we deceived him since we advised him." Muawiyah said to him: "Woe to you, Jariya, how insignificant you were to your family when they named you Jariya..." Jariya replied: "You are more insignificant to your family, who named you Muawiyah, which is the bitch that was in heat and howled, and the dogs howled." Muawiyah shouted: "Shut up, may you have no mother." Jariya replied: "Rather, you shut up, Muawiyah, for I have a mother who bore me for the swords with which we met you, and we have given you hearing and obedience on the condition that you judge us according to what God has revealed. If you fulfill it, we will fulfill it for you, and if you turn away, then we have left men who are strong and armor that is extended, who will not leave you to oppress or harm them." Muawiyah shouted at him: "May God not increase the likes of you." Jariya said: "O you, speak kindly, and be mindful of us, for the worst of shepherds is the destroyer." Then he left angrily without asking permission.

The three ministers turned to Muawiyah, and one of them said: "Our Caesar is not addressed by any of his subjects except while he is kneeling, sticking his forehead to the legs of his throne. If the voice of his closest confidant or relative rose, his punishment would be to be cut into pieces or burned. How is it with this coarse Bedouin with his rude behavior, and he came threatening you, as if his head is from your head?" Muawiyah smiled, then said: "I govern men who do not fear the blame of anyone in upholding the truth, and all my people are like this Bedouin, none of them prostrates to anyone other than God, and none of them is silent about oppression, and I have no superiority over anyone except in piety. I have offended the man with my tongue, and he has retaliated against me, and I was the one who started, and the one who starts is more unjust." The eldest of the Roman ministers cried until his beard was wet, so Muawiyah asked him about the reason for his crying, and he said: "We thought ourselves equal to you in strength and power before today, but now that I have seen in this council what I have seen, I am afraid that you will extend your rule over the capital of our kingdom one day..."

That day did indeed come, and Byzantium collapsed under the blows of the men, as if it were a spider's web. Will the Muslims return as men who do not fear the blame of anyone in upholding the truth?

Tomorrow is near for those who await it, when the rule of Islam returns and life is turned upside down, and the earth shines with the light of its Lord with a righteous caliphate on the method of prophecy.

The Radar: Sudan's Forgotten War: A Disaster for the Ummah

By Professor/Yasmine Malik

“The horror unfolding in Sudan is limitless”
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk

Sudan is bleeding, and the world barely stirs. Now, the brutal war between the Sudanese Armed Forces, led by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces, led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), is entering its third year, plunging the country into chaos and unleashing one of the most horrific humanitarian disasters of our time. Yet, despite the scale of the destruction and suffering, the war in Sudan is being ignored, forgotten, and silenced by global indifference.

This power struggle has claimed the lives of an estimated 150,000 civilians since April 2023 – although aid organizations believe the true figure is much higher. These are not soldiers on battlefields, but women, children, and the elderly, being mercilessly killed in their homes, mosques, markets, and makeshift camps (BBC). The El Obeid massacre, in which more than 300 civilians – including 21 children – were killed by Rapid Support Forces fighters, is just one of countless atrocities. Entire cities have been burned and razed to the ground. Mass graves have been dug in haste. Entire families have disappeared. What is happening in Sudan is not just a war, but a systematic extermination.

Women and girls, as always in wars, are among the most abused victims. Both sides have used sexual violence as a tool of terror and domination. Girls as young as 9 years old have been kidnapped, gang-raped, and then returned home physically destroyed, if they return at all. Survivors speak of public rapes aimed at humiliating communities, and mass sexual assaults in displacement camps.

Medical workers report that they are treating survivors without providing psychological support or justice. Many remain silent for fear of shame or reprisal. (Human Rights Watch, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights)

More than 14 million people have been displaced, making this the largest displacement crisis in the world. More than half of Sudan's 50 million people face the risk of starvation. According to the World Food Programme, famine has swept through at least 10 regions, including the Zamzam camp, which houses 400,000 displaced people. (World Food Program).

Food and water are scarce. Not because of a natural disaster, but deliberately. Both factions have used hunger as a weapon by obstructing humanitarian aid, seizing supplies, and preventing access to basic necessities. Starvation is used to punish entire populations.

In refugee camps, children eat leaves, and mothers go days without food to feed their children. Waterborne diseases, malaria, and cholera spread rapidly. Health systems have collapsed. UNICEF describes the situation as a multifaceted crisis, destroying every aspect of life; health, sanitation, education, and safety. (World Health Organization). Dozens of reports have emerged of torture of political prisoners, abduction of civilians, and forced recruitment of children to fight. Humanitarian workers have also been targeted, killed, abducted, or prevented from reaching those in need. Hospitals were looted and turned into battlefields. Schools were bombed. No place is safe anymore. (Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights).

Yet, the media barely whispers Sudan's name. The war is described as invisible, forgotten, or simply erased from the headlines altogether. Unlike Ukraine or Gaza, there are no celebrity endorsements, no mass protests, and no political urgency.

Sudan's silence is no coincidence, its wealth of gold, oil, uranium, and fertile land make it a geostrategic prize. Powers such as the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, America, Britain, and Russia all have interests in Sudan. The country has become a chessboard for foreign interests.

The war in Sudan is no historical accident. It is a legacy of colonialism, dividing borders, and secular dictatorships backed by foreign patrons. Sudan, like most existing countries in the Muslim world, was under the control of colonial powers. It was denied true independence, its leadership was corrupted, and its people fought each other.

The democratic solutions promoted by the West are part of the problem. These regimes – designed to serve the interests of the elite – have failed Sudan, as they have failed Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan.

There is only one path that offers a real and lasting solution for Sudan and the entire Islamic Ummah. This path is the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the Prophetic method.

The Khilafah will unite Muslims of all ethnic and tribal affiliations, remove foreign influence, distribute resources fairly, establish accountability, and ensure dignity and security for all. History recalls how the rule of the Khilafah during the reign of Omar bin Abdul Aziz eliminated poverty in North Africa to the point that no one deserving of Zakat could be found.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for one another is that of a body; when any part of it aches, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.» Sahih Muslim. Our Ummah in Sudan is in distress, the world may not care, but we must care.

The Women's Section in the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir calls on all Muslims to raise awareness, reject false solutions, and call for the establishment of the Khilafah upon the Prophetic method urgently.

﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.﴾
