Press Release
How can those responsible for people's security flee in search of safety?!
Sudan News quoted Darfur 24 in a report entitled: (Coordinated Withdrawal or Collapse?! Army and Joint Forces Commanders and Officials Leave El Fasher Two Days Before Its Fall), which stated: (Two sources from North Darfur revealed to the Darfur 24 website that army leaders, along with elements of the joint force, the Governor of North Darfur, Al-Hafiz Bakhit, and a number of his government members, left El Fasher two days before the Rapid Support Forces announced their full control of the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division). This news is confirmed by what was stated in Al-Burhan's speech: (Everyone is following what happened in El Fasher. The leadership present there, including the security committee, assessed that they should leave the city due to the systematic destruction and the systematic killing of civilians. They decided to leave the city and go to a safe place, in order to spare the rest of the citizens and the rest of the city from destruction)!!
So what happened?! After this withdrawal, did they spare the people from systematic killing?! The answer, which the whole world saw through videos documented by the Rapid Support Forces themselves, is that the real systematic killing began after the withdrawal of the army, joint forces, and officials. News from El Fasher has been circulating about the Rapid Support Forces carrying out widespread field executions in one of the largest acts of revenge Sudan has witnessed during this cursed war. Even women and elderly men were not spared. UN human rights reports indicated that about 1,850 civilians were killed in North Darfur, including at least 1,350 in El Fasher alone, noting that these figures do not necessarily reflect the true number of victims due to poor communications. Reports also indicate the execution of civilians who tried to flee, with evidence of ethnic motives for the killings, as well as the targeting of people who were no longer involved in the fighting. Multiple videos received by the United Nations showed dozens of unarmed men being shot or lying dead, surrounded by members of the Rapid Support Forces.
We in Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan hold the leaders of the Rapid Support Forces and their soldiers who committed these atrocities responsible for this heinous evil. We remind them of the words of God Almighty: ﴿And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him﴾. We also hold the government responsible for the delay in rescuing the people of El Fasher and lifting the siege on them. They are capable of doing so, but there are those who restrain their hands and prevent them from doing so, until El Fasher fell!!
America was waiting for the fall of El Fasher. It gave the green light to the Rapid Support Forces to besiege the city and attack it with more than 268 attempts until it fell. Trump's advisor for the Middle East and Africa, Mosaad Boulos, commented on what is happening in El Fasher: (What happened is not surprising)!! We say to them that the leader does not flee in search of safety, leaving behind defenseless people for whom he is responsible for their safety. How can the leaders and officials withdraw, leaving the fighters and civilians to the machine of dragging and killing, which they know?! The Rapid Support Forces' history is linked to killing, dragging, rape, and all atrocities wherever they go. How can people be left when they know their fate?!
The leader in Islam never flees. This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us, and he is the good example: ﴿There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often﴾. On the day of Hunayn, the Prophet ﷺ stood firm, advancing and facing danger with great courage, at a time when the war intensified and the Muslims began to flee the battle. The Prophet ﷺ stood tall, calling out to them until they returned and triumphed.
O people of El Fasher, O people of Sudan, and O Muslims everywhere:
We need a leader who emulates the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to lead us with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ, to protect our lives and defend our honor. This will only be possible if we work to create him, by working hard with Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish the Second Rightly-Guided Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood.
﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah comes in between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.﴾
