Press Release
For whose benefit does the government extend the opening of the Adré crossing while the people of El Fasher are dying of hunger?!
On Tuesday, the Sudanese government announced the extension of the opening of the Adré crossing on the western border with Chad to humanitarian relief organizations until the end of this year. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had issued a statement stating that this step comes as an affirmation of the government's commitment to ensuring the arrival of humanitarian aid to those in need throughout the country, and to show good intentions towards facilitating humanitarian work.
The Adré crossing is considered one of the most vital and important crossings between Sudan and Chad. Although the government had accused the Rapid Support Forces of using the crossing as a passage for military supplies and smuggling weapons to it under the guise of humanitarian relief, it has continued to extend the opening of this crossing every three months since August 2024, until this latest extension, under great pressure from America's tools, to make this crossing open to be a permanent supply line for the Rapid Support Forces! The government had accused unnamed countries and international organizations of using the Adré crossing to transport military equipment and fuel to the Rapid Support Forces, as Al-Harith Idris, Sudan's representative to the United Nations, revealed the movement of about 25 military vehicles and eight trucks carrying military equipment under the cover of humanitarian aid on 5/26/2004, and the entry of eight trucks through the same crossing on 6/2/2024 to the city of Geneina, carrying military equipment for the benefit of the Rapid Support Forces, and other evidence presented by the head of the mission to the Security Council.
This reality confirms that America, and its tools in the United Nations and others, want, under the guise of humanitarian work, to strengthen the Rapid Support Forces, so that they can seize full control of Darfur, in preparation for its separation, which is the same scenario that was used in the separation of South Sudan, when weapons were entering the rebels through boxes of alleged relief, but the strange thing is the government's behavior, which knows all this, and then submits to America by opening this important crossing! Moreover, this relief that they are talking about does not go to those who are in dire need of it, so for whose benefit does the government extend the opening of the Adré crossing while the people of El Fasher are dying of hunger and cholera, as a result of the suffocating siege imposed by the Rapid Support Forces on El Fasher and the displacement camps around it, for more than a year?!
The government's duty is to prevent this sinful American plan, which seeks to separate Darfur from the body of Sudan, as happened previously in South Sudan, and not to succumb to the dictates of the infidel colonial West, especially America, and to strive seriously to lift the siege of El Fasher, and liberate every inch of the land of Sudan from the rebellion, and it is capable of that.
Our people in Sudan must fulfill their Sharia duty in holding these rulers accountable, forcing them to adhere to the truth, and striving to change them, by working hard to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood, which stops the conspiracies of the disbelievers and the tampering of those who tamper with the unity of our country. Allah Almighty says: ﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life﴾.
