Chapter on Ingratitude to Spouses and Disbelief Less Than Disbelief Therein

Mentioned in Fath al-Bari, commentary on Sahih al-Bukhari by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, with modifications, in "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting: peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

Mentioned in Sahih Muslim, in the commentary of Imam al-Nawawi "with modifications" in "Chapter on Ingratitude to Spouses and Disbelief Less Than Disbelief Therein."

Narrated by Abdullah bin Maslama from Malik from Zaid bin Aslam from Ata bin Yasar, from Ibn Abbas who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I was shown Hellfire and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women who were ungrateful." It was asked, "Are they ungrateful to God?" He said, "They are ungrateful to their spouses and ungrateful for good deeds. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime, then she sees something (bad) from you, she will say: I have never seen any good from you."

Dear listeners:

It was narrated that Al-Asma'i said: I entered the desert and saw a woman from the most beautiful of people in face under a man from the ugliest of people in face, so I said to her: O woman, do you accept for yourself to be under someone like him? She said: O this, be quiet, you have spoken badly, perhaps he has done well in what is between him and his Creator, so He made me his reward, or perhaps I have done badly in what is between me and my Creator, so He made him my punishment, so shouldn't I be pleased with what God has pleased for me? So she silenced me.

O Muslims:

This view has changed among women, and the view is no longer linked to reward and punishment, but rather the interest has become the basis for dealing in this time, until the woman became ungrateful for her husband's blessings, denying and rejecting them, and not thanking him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, expressed this with ingratitude to emphasize this behavior. The matter did not stop at not being patient with the husband; rather, it extended to the denial of kindness and beautiful companionship. So where is this from the rulings of Islam? And where is this from patience? There is no doubt that the concepts of patience and the concepts of morals have disappeared from existence these days, and have been replaced by the concepts of benefit, the concepts of price, and the concepts of the self. That was when the sun of the Caliphate, which applies the Quran and its rulings on earth, disappeared.

O God, hasten for us a Caliphate on the Prophetic model that gathers the scattered Muslims, lifts from them what they are in of affliction, O God, illuminate the earth with the light of Your Noble Face. O God, Amen, Amen.

Our dear loved ones, and until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

The Hypocrites and Their Evil Deeds

We greet you all, dear friends, everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting: Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

It was narrated from Buraidah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do not call a hypocrite 'Sayyid' (master), for if he is a master, then you have angered your Lord, the Almighty and Sublime." Narrated by Abu Dawood with a Sahih (authentic) chain of narration.

Dear listeners,

Indeed, the best of speech is the word of God Almighty, and the best guidance is the guidance of His Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, peace and blessings be upon him. Now then,

This noble Hadith guides us on how to deal with the hypocrites we know. The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the only one who knew all the hypocrites by their names, but we can recognize some of them by their characteristics, such as those mentioned in the Quran who perform their obligatory duties lazily and grudgingly, and those who plot against Islam and Muslims, encourage strife, spread corruption on earth, and love to spread immorality by calling for it, protecting it, and nurturing it, and those who tell lies about Islam and Muslims... and others who are characterized by hypocrisy.

Therefore, we must understand what the Sharia (Islamic law) has deemed good and what it has deemed bad, so that we can distinguish the hypocrite from the sincere, and take appropriate action towards them. We should not trust those who do what contradicts the Sharia while pretending to do what they do out of concern for Islam and Muslims. We should not follow them or support them, or even less than that, by describing them as "Sayyid," otherwise God Almighty will be angry with us.

We Muslims must be the most keen people on Islam and Muslims, and not allow any hypocrite an entry point into our religion and our families, as they are among the most dangerous things we may face these days due to their abundance and the multiplicity of their faces. We must use the Sharia scale to measure the actions of those who claim to be Muslims, for Islam protects us from such evildoers.

We ask God to protect our nation from such criminals, and to guide us to the straight path and the correct scale by which we measure people's behavior, so that we stay away from those whom God does not love. Amen.

Dear friends, until we meet you with another prophetic Hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

With the Hadith - Promptness in adhering to Sharia

Promptness in adhering to Sharia

We greet you all, dear friends everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith" and we start with the best greeting, so peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

It is mentioned in Sahih Muslim, in the explanation of Imam Al-Nawawi "with modification" in the chapter on the confirmation of Paradise for the martyr:

Sa'eed bin Amr Al-Ash'athi and Suwaid bin Saeed narrated to us, and the wording is Sa'eed's, Sufyan told us from Amr, he heard Jabir saying: A man said: Where am I, O Messenger of God, if I am killed? He said, in Paradise, so he threw the dates that were in his hand, then fought until he was killed.

Dear listeners:

This is Umair bin Al-Humam, a companion who was raised by the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the first school in Islam and the first teacher. He is in the battle, striving for the sake of God, it occurred to him to ask, where am I if I am killed and martyred? And he knows the answer in advance, and it is as if he wants a special answer from the one to whom it is revealed, from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and that was it, Paradise. So he immediately got up and threw the few dates that were in his hand, and began to fight until he was killed.

O Muslims:

This is a lesson from the lessons of our beloved and role model Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, our noble Messenger, that O Muslims, hasten to act immediately upon knowledge. How long does it take to eat the dates? Three minutes? More or less? Umair found this short period long, so he found himself fighting, anticipating reward, advancing and not retreating as soon as he knew the answer.

And so are we; God Almighty has commanded us and forbade us, so where are we in relation to those commands and prohibitions? What is the extent of adherence to these rulings? We live in a time when most Muslims have deviated from God's laws, so who will follow in the footsteps of Umair, may God be pleased with him? And works with those who work to exalt this religion, by establishing the caliphate of the Muslims, which will unite them under an Imam again who applies the law of their Lord among them.

O God, hasten us with a righteous caliphate on the path of prophecy that gathers the scattered Muslims, and lifts from them what they are in of affliction. O God, illuminate the earth with the light of Your Noble Face. O God, Amen, Amen.

Our dear loved ones, and until we meet you with another Prophetic Hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
