In the hustle of life and the heedlessness of societies, a single word remains capable of shaking mountains, igniting emotions, and instilling a sense of accountability in the hearts of the Islamic Ummah. It is a word that came from mouths exhausted by torture, and bodies crushed by injustice in the dungeons of tyrants, "Where have you been all this time?!" It was said by one of those released from the prisons of the fugitive Bashar al-Assad, one of those who tasted the horrors, and whose lives were extinguished behind bars. When he met some of those who had been released, he did not ask him about the number of years in prison, but rather shouted in his face: "Where were you? Where have you been all this time? Why didn't you free us while we were being buried alive?"
In September of each year, Yemen coincides with two occasions; the first in 9/26/1962 AD, which is the anniversary of the overthrow of the monarchy in northern Yemen, and the second in 9/21/2014 AD, which is the anniversary of the Houthis' entry into Sana'a, which led to their control of the northern governorates.
