Abu Wadaha News: Rain is a blessing and mercy, but without care it became a curse! Hizb ut-Tahrir clarifies
The heavy rains and torrential floods that struck wide areas of Sudan led to the death of 42 people, the injury of 31 others, and the collapse of more than four thousand homes.
We ask God Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for our people who died as a result of these rains, and that God raise them to the status of martyrs, and we ask Him Almighty for kindness in His judgment.
It is sad and unfortunate that the rainy season does not come as a surprise, but rather it is months of information that is repeated annually, and what is worse is that many weather stations warned of heavy rains, but the government agencies did not take action to avoid its effects, which were even more severe on the villages of the River Nile State, eastern Sudan, and even Kordofan, and others. The government has nothing to do with care, otherwise it would have directed its officials to open drains, build bridges, inspect valleys, move people and animals to high places, and review people's homes and their ability to withstand the rains, but it is preoccupied with other than their problems, and thus it has completely abandoned its responsibilities in taking care of their affairs, except to offer condolences to the families of those whose houses fell on their heads! The rains, which are originally mercy and a blessing from God, have turned into a curse and a disaster!
The duty of care on the neck of the government is a responsibility decided by Islam on the ruler towards the subjects. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, says: "...and the Imam who is in charge of the people is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, embodied this responsibility practically when he was the ruler of the Muslims in Medina. Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, narrated: “The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was the most handsome of people, the most generous of people, and the bravest of people. The people of Medina were alarmed one night, so the people set out towards the sound, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, met them, having preceded the people to the sound, and he was saying, ‘Do not be alarmed, do not be alarmed.’ He was on a horse belonging to Abu Talha, bareback, with no saddle on it, and with a sword around his neck. He said, ‘I found it a sea, or it is indeed a sea.’” Narrated by Bukhari.
O people in Sudan: It has been proven to you beyond any doubt that these functional regimes do not take care of your affairs, but rather they are a burden on you, so get rid of them, and work to please your Lord with Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish a state of care; the second Khilafah Rashidah state on the method of Prophethood, so that you may live under its shade happy and generous.
﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.﴾
