Abu Wadaha News: Hizb ut-Tahrir Sudan Province Organizes an Address to its Supporters
Political address in Port Sudan:
(How Islam addressed the problem of high prices)
Under this title, Hizb ut-Tahrir / Sudan Province held its weekly political address today, Monday, 27 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to 06/23/2025 AD, in front of the Al-Haramain Hotel in the Grand Market in Port Sudan.
The speaker, Mr. Muhammad Jami Abu Ayman, discussed the problem of high prices suffered by the people of Sudan, and how all of humanity suffers from high prices due to the control of the capitalist democratic systems in the world, and how they are the reason for high prices, so many people could not obtain goods and services. Then he explained the hadith: (Whoever interferes with the prices of Muslims to raise them, it is incumbent upon Allah to seat him with a great fire on the Day of Resurrection), and enumerated the things that would lead to high prices, which have already led to higher prices of goods and services, and how Islam addressed them, which are as follows:
1/ Monopoly: Islam forbade monopoly, and the speaker explained it in detail, showing its significant impact on raising prices, and that Islam has forbidden this heinous act: (No one monopolizes except a sinner).
2/ Taxes of both types, direct and indirect, and how the buyer, who is at the mercy of the seller, is the one who pays these taxes taken by countries that apply capitalist democratic systems on goods and services, and they take them illegitimately.
3/ Customs duties, as everyone feels their impact on rising prices, and he explained that Islam has forbidden them, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The owner of extortion will not enter Paradise," and extortion is customs duties, as Abu Ayman inferred from the hadith of Al-Ghamidiya: (Al-Ghamidiyyah came and said: O Messenger of Allah, I have committed adultery, and I want you to purify me. He turned her away. The next day she came to him and said: O Prophet of Allah, why do you turn me away? Perhaps you want to turn me away as you turned away Ma'iz bin Malik? By Allah, I am pregnant. He said: If not, go until you give birth. When she gave birth, she came to him with the child in a rag and said: I have given birth to him. He said: Go and nurse him until you wean him. When she weaned him, she came to him with the child, and in his hand was a piece of bread, and she said: O Prophet of Allah, I have weaned him, and he has eaten food. He handed the boy over to a man from the Muslims, then ordered that she be dug for up to her chest, and ordered the people to throw stones, and Khalid bin Al-Walid came forward and threw her head, and the blood splashed on his face, and he cursed her. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, heard him cursing her, and said: Calm down, Khalid, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, she has repented a repentance that if the owner of extortion had repented it, Allah would have forgiven him. Then he ordered that he pray over her, and she was buried).
4/ Hoarding, as the speaker explained that hoarding prevents people from accessing the money that everyone should circulate, and not just the rich and owners of capital alone...
The attendees praised the address, some of them said Allahu Akbar and chanted, and one of them said: (This is a distinguished presentation, and we only heard Allah said and the Messenger of Allah said... May Allah reward you with good).
Finally, the speaker reminded the audience of the obligation to work to establish the state that applies the rulings of Islam in the economy and in other systems of life, and that the Caliphate is the state that the beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, established, and specified that it is a Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood after him... Then he gave glad tidings of our Lord’s promise, which says: (Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them), and the glad tidings of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: (... Then there will be a Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood).
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
