The US military threatens Iran if it decides to retaliate against the strike on nuclear facilities
The United States warned Iran on Sunday against taking any reaction to the attacks that targeted its nuclear facilities, stressing that any Iranian escalation would be met with a massive American response that could have catastrophic consequences for Tehran. The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Keene, said in a press conference: "Any response from Iran will be a very bad choice, and we will deal with it firmly." He pointed out that the American operation against Iranian nuclear facilities, which was called "Midnight Hammer," was "a deliberate and precise attack on 3 nuclear facilities" located in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, and was carried out under the supervision of the commander of the US Central Command "Centcom," General Michael Eric Kurilla. The Iranian Parliament approves the closure of the Strait of Hormuz
Iranian television confirmed on Sunday that parliament had approved the closure of the Strait of Hormuz in response to US attacks targeting three nuclear facilities in Iran, coinciding with the continued military escalation between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
