Radar: "Hope" government turns into a nightmare for people's lives with the collapse of the pound!
In his speech after being sworn in as Prime Minister, Kamel Idris said: "Our motto is hope and the message is to achieve security, well-being, and a prosperous life for every Sudanese citizen"! In his first press statement, he said that he would dedicate his time and effort to achieving a prosperous life for every Sudanese
And here we are entering the third month, and his cabinet has not yet been completed, and the hope with which he promised people has turned into a disturbing nightmare, which began with the collapse of the Sudanese pound against other currencies, especially the dollar, as the parallel market (black market) witnessed a large increase, in which one dollar exceeded the barrier of 3,000 Sudanese pounds, and this deterioration in the exchange rate of the local currency ignited the prices of fuel and basic commodities, which made people's lives narrower than they already are due to the war and its repercussions.
In light of this catastrophic situation, the Minister of Finance is content with promises and assurances that neither nourish nor avail against hunger!
We in Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan, in the face of this oppression of the people, clarify the following facts:
First: Among the fundamental reasons that have led, and are leading to these catastrophic economic conditions:
a- Printing banknotes without cover under the banner of currency replacement, and then to complete the replacement process in the states of Al-Jazeera, Khartoum and others.
b- It has been proven that some of the old currency that was replaced has leaked into the market and been re-injected, which increases the decrease in the purchasing value of the currency.
c- The continuation of the war and the increasing expenses, in addition to the crimes of the Rapid Support Forces, by destroying currency printing presses, stealing printing presses, and carrying out a large-scale counterfeiting of the local currency.
Secondly: The Sharia has specified gold and silver for monetary transactions, considering that they have an intrinsic value that makes the exchange value stable, but the government, by following the policies of the disbelieving, colonizing West, represented in printing paper money without gold cover, and then submitting to the dictates of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, in adhering to the flotation policy; which made our currency decline daily to the bottom against the dollar, which is only worth the value of the paper and printing, the government's adherence to these policies is what led us to this terrible decline, despite the country's wealth of apparent and hidden resources.
Thirdly: We have given the colonizing infidel a way and authority over us, despite the categorical prohibition from Sharia, God Almighty says: ﴿AND ALLAH WILL NEVER GRANT THE DISBELIEVERS A WAY OVER THE BELIEVERS﴾, as they interfere in our affairs, through what is called the alleged peace conferences, through which South Sudan was separated, and now they are beating the drums for holding a conference in Washington at the end of this month, and what we fear most is that this oppression is due to an active agent in order to accept what this conference results in of dire evil related to the secession of the Darfur region.
In conclusion, we say to our people in Sudan, this oppression and the blatant interference of the colonizing infidels in our lives, through their agents at home, will only be stopped by the Rightly Guided Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood, so come and work with Hizb ut-Tahrir, the pioneer who does not lie to his people, to establish it.
﴿O YOU WHO BELIEVE, RESPOND TO ALLAH AND TO THE MESSENGER WHEN HE CALLS YOU TO THAT WHICH GIVES YOU LIFE﴾
