The Radar: Establishing the Hudud by a legitimate Caliphate is decisive for the establishment of security
Following the increasing phenomenon of theft, robbery, and terrorizing of safe people in many cities of Sudan, Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan held a political address at 4:00 PM on Monday, 26 Muharram 1447 AH, corresponding to 07/21/2025 AD, in front of the Al-Haramain Hotel in the Grand Market, in the city of Port Sudan, in which Mr. Muhammad Jamie Abu Ayman, Assistant Official Spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, spoke.
Mr. Abu Ayman began his speech by explaining the importance of security, and that it is a basic need that a person needs in his life, and that Islam has revealed legislations and rulings, by applying them in the state, it guarantees providing security for the society. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Whoever among you wakes up secure in his home, healthy in his body, and has his food for the day, it is as if the whole world has been brought to him).
Then he explained how Islam is keen to fight crime of all kinds, especially theft, robbery, and banditry, and others, with the Islamic penal system, including the Sharia punishments, which the state applies to be deterrents and remedies, and he cited the hadith: "Implementing one ḥadd (prescribed punishment) on earth is better for its people than forty nights of rain," and how leniency in implementing God's limits has emboldened criminals to corruption on earth.
Allah Almighty said: {Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment} [Al-Ma'idah: 33], speaking about the hadd of Hirabah and the importance of applying it to what is called the Nine Long Gangs, and if only one hadd was applied, the criminals would be deterred immediately, and these manifestations of crime would disappear from our lives.
The audience continued to follow the address with enthusiasm, until one of them carried the banner expressing his standing with the banner of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wherever it was raised, according to him.
In conclusion, the speaker urged the audience to work to establish the limits of God on earth, for those who are looking for security and stability, and this can only be achieved if Muslims seek to establish the Caliphate state that applies the laws of Islam and carries it to the world through Da'wah and Jihad, citing the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ: (Whoever lives long after me will see a lot of disagreement, so adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Caliphs after me, cling to it with your molars).
