In order to clarify the answer to the questions above, we review the following matters:

1- Regarding the Druze, their number in Syria is estimated at about 700,000, residing in areas in southern Syria, especially in the Suwayda Governorate. A section of them reside in Lebanon, estimated at about 250,000, and there is a section of them, estimated at about 140,000, residing in northern Palestine and on the Golan Heights. The Jewish entity has granted its citizenship to those residing in the occupied territories, so a section of them have joined its army... Therefore, the Jewish entity uses them as a pretext for intervention in Syria. It has provoked them since the end of last February in Jaramana and Sahnaya near the capital, Damascus... And in the recent Suwayda events that broke out since 7/12/2025, the Jewish entity clearly announced that it supports the Druze and is working to exploit them, as gangs of Druze committed acts of violence against Muslims from the Bedouins residing in the Suwayda Governorate, killing hundreds of them. The Prime Minister of the Jewish entity, Netanyahu, announced in a speech broadcast by the Jewish media and others on 7/17/2025, saying: (We have put in place a clear policy, disarming the area south of Damascus, from the Golan Heights to the Jabal al-Druze area, and this is the first line. As for the second line, it is protecting the Druze in the Jabal al-Druze area). The Minister of War of the Jewish entity, Israel Katz, sent threats to Syria on the X platform on 7/16/2025, saying (The signals to Damascus have ended, and now the painful strikes will come... The army will continue to operate strongly in Suwayda to destroy the forces that attacked the Druze until their complete withdrawal). The spokesperson for the Jewish army said on the X platform: (The army continues to strike military targets of the Syrian regime. A short while ago, it attacked the headquarters of the Syrian General Staff in the Damascus area). On the same day, the radio of the Jewish entity army announced (that it had attacked about 160 targets in Syria since last night, most of them in Suwayda "against the Syrian security forces and the Bedouins", and some of them in the capital, Damascus...). It was announced that the Presidential Palace and the Ministry of Defense were struck, along with the General Staff in Damascus.

2- Thus, the Jewish entity clearly declares its goals and policy and that it is exploiting the Druze to implement this policy towards Syria, making it seem as if their affair is of concern to it and not of concern to the Syrian regime, as if it is implicitly cutting this region off from Syria and becoming the dominant force over it. It should be noted that it has not ceased launching attacks in Syria during the era of the Bashar al-Assad regime, but it did not take the Druze as a pretext for that, but rather took the Iranian presence and its followers as a pretext. It struck many military centers of the regime as well as Iran, which was supporting the regime with its militias, and struck its consulate in Damascus, killing many Iranian military leaders. On the day that Bashar al-Assad fled on 12/8/2024, the Jewish entity launched heavy raids over successive days and struck hundreds of Syrian military sites, and when it did not receive a response or resistance, it became greedy and continued its attacks until it advanced and occupied new Syrian territories, reaching about 25 kilometers from the capital, Damascus, and occupied Mount Hermon, violating the 1974 agreements related to disengagement and ceasefire. So the Jewish entity wants to secure southern Syria as a safe, demilitarized buffer zone by playing the card of minorities, especially the Druze.

3- Following these events, the Syrian President, Ahmed al-Sharaa, delivered a speech broadcast by Syrian television and other Arab television stations on the morning of 7/17/2025, in which he said: ("We were faced with the choice of war with Israel or allowing the Druze sheikhs to agree, so we chose to protect the homeland." He said: "Israel sought to undermine the ceasefire "in Suwayda" were it not for American, Arab and Turkish mediation"). He delivered a second speech on 7/19/2025, which was reported by the Syrian News Agency and broadcast via television stations, in which he said: ("The Syrian state has managed to calm the situation despite the difficulty of the situation, but the Israeli intervention has pushed the country into a dangerous stage that threatens its stability as a result of the blatant bombardment of the south and government institutions in Damascus, and as a result of these events, American and Arab mediation intervened in an attempt to calm the situation"). He is counting on the intervention of other countries, headed by America, which sponsors and supports the Jewish entity, in order to give it a way to do so!

4- Then the events escalated and the relationship of the Jews with Hikmat al-Hajri began to become clear, as he tightened his grip on the internal aspect of Suwayda. Under the headings "Rallying the ranks within the sect and consoling the families of the martyrs," he began to eliminate voices that did not support him, such as the voices of Al-Jarboa, Al-Balaous, and Al-Hannawi. If Hikmat al-Hajri's faction is the largest in Suwayda and dominates the other factions, then the voices of the opponents, such as Al-Jarboa and Al-Balaous, have become shy voices in their demands to continue within the Syrian state, and they have no weight in the field. Hikmat al-Hajri is the one who ignites the confrontations, and he is the one who disavows the agreements concluded with Damascus. His current is the dominant one in Suwayda, and he issues his statements in the name of the spiritual leadership of the Druze sect without regard to the references of Al-Jarboa and Al-Hannawi, and it is clear that he is in direct contact with the Jewish entity. He had sent dozens of Druze visitors to the entity. Hikmat al-Hajri issued a statement in the name of the Druze spiritual leadership in which he said: ("We appeal to the free world, and all the active forces in it, and we address our appeal to His Excellency (American) President Donald Trump, His Excellency Prime Minister (Israeli) Benjamin Netanyahu, His Highness the Crown Prince (Saudi) Prince Mohammed bin Salman, His Majesty King (Jordanian) Abdullah II, and everyone who has a voice and influence in this world... 5- It should be noted that the Damascus government has made itself the weakest link in the series surrounding Suwayda and southern Syria, as in addition to its laxity and inaction with everything the Jewish entity is doing from military strikes against it and against its weapons, it enters southern Syria and kills and arrests as if there is no state, and all this absence of state reactions is based on the advice of Erdogan, who announced his support for the American president's request for Damascus to join the Abraham Accords (Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, 7/6/2025). Erdogan sponsored the Al-Sharaa government's contacts with the Jewish entity in Azerbaijan... Thus, the government of Ahmed al-Sharaa became a very weak link in the Suwayda crisis. It intervened to resolve the clashes in the region and withdrew from it in humiliation under the shelling from the Jewish entity, which reached the army's General Staff and approached the Presidential Palace, then America intervened and a mediation called Arab and Turkish for the security forces to return, and this time from the Ministry of Interior and not the army, that is, with light weapons, then it turns out that these government forces did not enter Suwayda, but their job was to prevent the Arab tribes from continuing their attack on Suwayda, that is, they stood at the outskirts of the governorate and did not enter it, but rather the Jewish entity demanded that of it, that is, to prevent the tribes from attacking Suwayda. In every agreement, the rebel Hikmat al-Hajri was the one who violated the agreement and demanded new conditions, forcing the government to formulate another new agreement, the last of which is the fourth in a week. The government of Ahmed al-Sharaa, through negotiations, removed the militants of the tribes from inside Suwayda without entering it, then it displaced the tribes residing in Suwayda to outside it, so it transferred and displaced hundreds of Muslim families from Suwayda to shelters in Daraa, which is something that Hikmat al-Hajri is also doing, (as clashes renewed, Friday, after a group affiliated with Hikmat al-Hajri, one of the Druze leaders, displaced a number of the sons of the Bedouin tribes from the Sunnis and committed violations against them. 6- By contemplating the events in Syria, it becomes clear that America is managing it with a plan that did not start today, although it has escalated after the coming of Trump. 7- Thus, it becomes clear that the American plan in Syria is based on a main principle, which is replacing an agent with an agent, and for this purpose, it gave Turkey the green light to demolish the Bashar regime and build a new regime subordinate to it, and despite all the complacent statements from the new Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, which indicate his acceptance of this replacement, including abandoning the rule of Islam and abandoning the accountability of Bashar's followers and replacing it with national reconciliation, and he has even reached the point of opening negotiations with the Jewish entity from behind a veil.. According to media leaks, one of the most prominent things being negotiated is: the establishment of a buffer security zone in southern Syria for the account of the Jewish entity, as is the case in Sinai between Egypt and the Jewish entity according to the peace agreement concluded by the Egyptian regime in 1979, which is still in effect preventing the people of Egypt from moving to support their brothers in Gaza who are being subjected to genocide.
