With the Noble Hadith
Allah is the third of two partners... unless one of them betrays his companion!!
We greet you all, dear listeners, everywhere. We meet you in a new episode of your program "With the Noble Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting and the purest peace. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. Thereafter:
Abu Dawud narrated in his Musnad from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of God e said: «Allah the Almighty says: I am the third of two partners as long as one of them does not betray his companion, but if he betrays him, I leave them».
Lessons learned from the Noble Hadith:
-
Partnership is a blessed deed.
-
Betraying a partner is forbidden.
-
If one of the partners betrays his partner, the blessing will be erased. That is, it will be completely removed.
-
A partnership can only be between two or more entities.
Partnership is a contract between two or more people, in which they agree to carry out a financial business with the intention of profit. Therefore, partnership is a blessed deed, and God Almighty blesses it as long as the two partners are in agreement and cooperate with each other. Each of them is faithful to his money and the money of his partner, and each partner loves for his partner what he loves for himself, not only that, but each of them prefers (i.e. favors) his partner over himself. If the two partners have these characteristics, then God Almighty will bless this partnership.
Some partners may think of betraying their partner, or actually committing the betrayal, i.e. actually doing it, so the partner betrays his partner in order to take his money, so he takes money that he has no right to take. The existence of such partners in society is normal, because society is not a society of angels who do not disobey God in what He commands them, and do what they are commanded, but rather it is a human society in which there are believers and disbelievers, and in which there are honest and dishonest, and in which there are righteous and corrupt. God Almighty said: (And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they).
(Surah Sad 24) And the associates are the partners.
God Almighty has forbidden betrayal in general, including a partner betraying his partner, so if one of the partners betrays his partner, the blessing will be erased. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: «God Almighty says in the Holy Hadith: I am the third of two partners as long as one of them does not betray his companion, but if one of them betrays his companion, I leave them, and Satan enters». The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: «God's hand is over two partners as long as they do not betray each other». The meaning of "betray each other": that is, each partner accuses his partner of betrayal.
Among the Quranic evidence for the prohibition of betrayal in general is His saying: (O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]. And know that your properties and your children are [but] a trial and that with Allah is great reward). (Al-Anfal 27) The meaning of the word "fitnah" mentioned in the previous verse is: trial, test, and examination. Among the Quranic evidence for the prohibition of betrayal is also His saying: (Indeed, Allah does not like those who are treacherous). (Al-Anfal 58)
Dear listeners: We thank you for your kind listening. Our appointment with you is in the next episode, God willing. Until then, and until we meet you always, we leave you in God's care, protection, and security. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
