With the Hadith
Anger for the Sake of Allah
We greet you all, dear listeners everywhere, in a new episode of your program: With the Hadith, and we begin with the best greeting, which is peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
Narrated by Aisha: "The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, never struck anything with his hand, neither a woman nor a servant, unless he was fighting in the path of God, and nothing was ever done to him that he would take revenge on its perpetrator, unless something of the sacred things of God was violated, in which case he would take revenge for the sake of God Almighty." Narrated by Muslim.
Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, said: [People are of three types: some are angry for themselves and for their Lord, some are not angry for themselves or for their Lord, and some are angry for their Lord, not for themselves, and this is the character of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. As for those who are angry for themselves, not for their Lord, or take for themselves and do not give to others, they are the worst of creation and cannot be used for religion or worldly affairs].
Dear listeners,
The evil rulers of this time have made the causes of anger numerous and constant, including failure to rule according to what God has revealed, neglecting and violating God's sanctities, following policies that lead to poverty, humiliation, deprivation, and defeat for the nation, striving for misguidance and ignorance, maintaining backwardness in all fields, and preventing the performance of worship as God has commanded. There are endless reasons, and anger is necessary, constant and continuous anger, anger for God, for the sake of God, and for His religion and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. Anger that is accompanied by action to change the causes of anger. Whoever is not angry for God and is angry for himself has earned what he is in. Whoever is angry at the high prices and not angry at the absence of God's rule has earned what he is in. Whoever is angry at being insulted and not angry at the insult of his Prophet has earned what he is in. The righteous are those who fulfill their obligations, abandon forbidden things, and are angry for their Lord when His sanctities are violated. These are the morals of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in his giving and defending, and they are the most complete of matters. It is necessary to be angry for the sake of God and to work to establish the caliphate that removes its causes and maintains the causes of satisfaction and tranquility.
Dear listeners,
Until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
