With the Hadith

 The Emirate – Part One

We greet you all, dear listeners, and start with the best greeting, so peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

It was mentioned by Muslim in his Sahih, may God have mercy on him

"Qutaiba bin Saeed and Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah told us: Hatim, who is Ibn Ismail, told us from Al-Muhajir bin Mismar from Amer bin Saad bin Abi Waqqas, who said: I wrote to Jabir bin Samurah with my servant Nafi' to inform me of something you heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: So he wrote to me, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a Friday evening when Al-Aslami was stoned, saying: "The religion will continue to be established until the Hour comes or there will be twelve caliphs over you, all of them from Quraish." And I heard him say: "A group of Muslims will conquer the White House, the House of Kisra or the family of Kisra." And I heard him say: "Indeed, before the Hour there will be liars, so beware of them." And I heard him say: "If God gives one of you good, let him start with himself and his family." And I heard him say: "I am the forerunner on the Hawd."

His saying, may God bless him and grant him peace: (A group of Muslims will conquer the White House, the House of Kisra).

This is one of the manifest miracles of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they conquered it - praise be to God - during the time of Umar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him. Al-'Usaybah is the diminutive of 'Usbah, which is the group, and Kisra with a kasra or a fatha on the kaf.

His saying, may God bless him and grant him peace: (If God gives one of you good, let him start with himself).

It is like the hadith: "Start with yourself, then with those you support."

His saying, may God bless him and grant him peace: (I am the forerunner on the Hawd).

(Al-Farat) with a fatha on the ra, and its meaning is: the one who precedes to it and waits to give you water from it. Al-Farat and Al-Farit are: the one who precedes the people to the water to prepare for them what they need.

As for his saying: - The religion is established ... or there will be upon you

Some scholars said: -

"Established" means permanence and continuity. It is said that he established something, meaning he made it permanent, and from it is the saying of God Almighty: "And they establish prayer" and the saying of God Almighty: "Except as long as you are standing over it", so the estimate is: the religion will remain lasting and continuous forever until the Hour comes.

And his saying: or there will be upon you...., or here it is for conjunction and it means the same as the letter "and", so the estimate is: "And there will be twelve upon you - - He singled them out for mention to achieve glory and appearance and the absence of harm in their time..."

There are several approaches for scholars in interpreting and directing this hadith

They said: The meaning is the just ones among the caliphs, and some of them have passed in the nation, and their number will be completed until the Hour comes.

Al-Nawawi, may God have mercy on him, says, quoting Al-Qadi Iyad:

It is possible that what is meant is those who deserve the caliphate, the just ones, and some of them have passed who are known, and this number must be completed before the Hour comes

Al-Nawawi, may God have mercy on him, says - quoting Al-Qadi Iyad -:

It is possible that what is meant is those in whose time Islam is glorified, and the Muslims unite upon him, as stated in Sunan Abi Dawood: (The nation unites upon all of them)

Al-Suyuti narrated: that the meaning is: the existence of twelve caliphs in the entire duration of Islam until the Resurrection who act according to the truth even if they do not follow one another

In Fath al-Bari: The four caliphs have passed from them, and the number must be completed before the Hour comes

Ibn Kathir said: -

The meaning of this hadith is the good news of the existence of twelve righteous caliphs who establish the truth and act justly among them, and this does not require them to follow one another and their days to be successive, but four have been found in one order, and they are the four caliphs Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali, and among them is Umar bin Abdul Aziz, without a doubt according to the imams and some of the Abbasids, and the Hour will not come until their reign is inevitable, and it appears that among them is the Mahdi who is promised in the hadiths mentioned about him.

O nation of good - O sons of the caliphate: -

As we note, the hadith was mentioned in the word (caliph), and it indicates the one who assumes the general rule and authority, as the hadith explained that the religion is established, indicating empowerment, sovereignty, influence, and victory over those who oppose or disagree with it, so the cunning of the plotters and the criticism of the critics will not harm it...Islam is a religion, a methodology, and a reference for the existing state, rulers and ruled.

The hadith does not give those caliphs an advantage or merit simply because Islam was glorified in their time.

Rather, what is meant is the time period, regardless of the personalities of the rulers and their notables, but rather it is a prophecy reported by the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace.

And that the religion remains established in that time period, apparent and victorious over those who resist it, with the aim of eliminating it as a religion, civilization, and state, or preventing people from entering it, or trying to expel them from it, or doubting its rulings and teachings, and criticizing it.

And among the manifestations of that victory, that appearance, and that glory, is that harm does not befall Islam as a religion, no matter how many demolition tools there are, so its opponents, who are the enemies from outside its followers, whether they are polytheists from the People of the Book, or resentful, or from the systems of disbelief, such as the disbelieving America or the resentful Britain and the like, cannot harm it in any way, in confirmation of the saying of God Almighty in Surat Al-Anfal, verse 36 (Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah. So they will spend it; then it will be [a cause of] regret for them; then they will be overcome. And those who have disbelieved - into Hell they will be gathered). Just as those who abandon it and deviate from it completely or partially, from those who truly or hypocritically professed it, cannot cause it any harm...

The state of Islam remained strong during the time of Al-Mansur after the elimination of Abu Muslim Al-Khorasani, and it was strong during the time of Al-Rashid, while some opponents became proud and began to revolt in the conquered countries, and penetrated the Islamic state apparatus until they almost gained complete control, as the Barmakids did during the time of Al-Rashid before their movement was eliminated by Al-Rashid himself...

Thus, we see that what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, reported has been achieved during the period of the twelve caliphs, for Islam at that time was the mighty one and everything else was the humble one. The religion will remain established until the Hour comes, and the state of absolute glory and appearance that accompanies that establishment is limited to that time period in which those twelve caliphs assume power.

My beloved ones in God:-

It must be noted that the number does not matter, and for clarification - the hadith narrated by Muslim from the hadith of Ammar, may God be pleased with him (IN MY NATION THERE ARE TWELVE HYPOCRITES WHO WILL NOT ENTER PARADISE) - and the question that arises - are there only twelve hypocrites in this nation, or are there more? - And the answer to that - It is said: The number of hypocrites is greater, and it is also said: The caliphs are more than 12, but because of the appearance of glory and sublimity in their era, he singled them out by mentioning their number, otherwise we can name more than 12 caliphs in whose era Islam was mighty and apparent, and in the caliphs of the Ottomans who conquered Europe there is sufficiency, let alone those who preceded them from the caliphs of the Muslims, may God have mercy on them.

O sons of the conquerors: -

The Muslims, rulers, and scholars were all in one trench, defending the creed of Islam, their princes were righteous, applying Islam, and carrying it to the world by calling and jihad. And the scholars of the Muslims, and their jurists, teach the people Islam, and discuss among themselves, and advise and hold the rulers accountable, and they do not fear the blame of a critic in God. And the Muslims enjoy the rule of Islam, and the Islamic nation was a moderate nation, the leader among nations, and a witness to the world, as God described and made it: {And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you} Al-Baqarah 143

And the sons of the Muslims, including their scholars, must realize that their individual da’wah is not sufficient, and that they must work in a group that leads the work for comprehensive change in order to revive the Islamic nation, by restoring the rule of its religion in its state as it was in the comprehensive caliphate state, in order to glorify the religion. Until God permits His victory, and the Muslims return to their first path, the best nation brought out for people, Islam will be glorified in their time, by God's permission. God Almighty said: {Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah, and I am not of those who associate others with Him."} Yusuf 108

Dear listeners, and until we meet you with another Prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

With the Hadith

Do you know who is bankrupt?

May Allah greet you, our dear listeners, listeners of the radio of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir. We meet you again with our program "With the Hadith," and the best way to start our episode is with the greeting of Islam, so peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

It is mentioned in Musnad Ahmad - Remainder of the Musnad of the Prolific Narrators - that the bankrupt of my nation is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with fasting, prayer, and charity, but he comes having insulted this person, slandered this person, and consumed the wealth of this person.

Narrated 'Abd al-Rahman from Zuhair from al-'Ala' from his father from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Do you know who is bankrupt?" They said: "The bankrupt among us, O Messenger of Allah, is the one who has no dirham or goods." He said: "Indeed, the bankrupt of my nation is the one who comes on the Day of Resurrection with fasting, prayer, and charity, but he comes having insulted this person, slandered this person, and consumed the wealth of this person. So he will sit, and this one will take from his good deeds, and that one will take from his good deeds, and if his good deeds are exhausted before he settles what is owed to him of sins, their sins will be taken and cast upon him, then he will be thrown into the Fire."

This hadith, like other important hadiths, must be understood and realized. Some people are bankrupt despite their prayers, fasting, and zakat, because they insulted this person, slandered this person, consumed the wealth of this person, shed the blood of this person, and beat this person.

His bankruptcy is that his good deeds, which are his capital, are taken and given to this one and used to pay off that one for the price of his slander, insult, and beating. After his good deeds are exhausted before he settles what is owed, their sins are taken and cast upon him, then he is thrown into the Fire.

When the Prophet, peace be upon him, asked his companions, "Do you know who is bankrupt?" "Do you know" means knowledge and awareness of the inner workings of things. "Do you know" means "Do you really know who is bankrupt?" This confirms the saying of our master Ali, may Allah honor his face: "Wealth and poverty are after the presentation to Allah." When they were asked this question, they answered based on their experiences: "The bankrupt among us is the one who has no dirham or goods." This is the bankrupt in the eyes of the companions of the Messenger of Allah. So he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No... HE SAID: "INDEED, THE BANKRUPT OF MY NATION IS THE ONE WHO COMES ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION WITH FASTING, PRAYER, AND CHARITY..."

This confirms the saying of our master Umar: "Whoever wishes may fast, and whoever wishes may pray, but it is righteousness," because prayer, fasting, Hajj, and zakat are acts of worship that a person may do with sincerity, or he may do them hypocritically, but the center of gravity is to adhere to the command of Allah.

We ask Allah to keep us steadfast on the truth, and make us of His righteous servants, and replace our bad deeds with good deeds, and not disgrace us on the Day of Presentation to Him, O Allah, Amen.

Our dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we entrust you to Allah, whose deposits are never lost. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

With the Hadith - The Hypocrites and Their Evil Deeds

With the Hadith

The Hypocrites and Their Evil Deeds

We greet you all, dear friends, everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting: Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

It was narrated from Buraidah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do not call a hypocrite 'Sayyid' (master), for if he is a master, then you have angered your Lord, the Almighty and Sublime." Narrated by Abu Dawood with a Sahih (authentic) chain of narration.

Dear listeners,

Indeed, the best of speech is the word of God Almighty, and the best guidance is the guidance of His Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, peace and blessings be upon him. Now then,

This noble Hadith guides us on how to deal with the hypocrites we know. The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the only one who knew all the hypocrites by their names, but we can recognize some of them by their characteristics, such as those mentioned in the Quran who perform their obligatory duties lazily and grudgingly, and those who plot against Islam and Muslims, encourage strife, spread corruption on earth, and love to spread immorality by calling for it, protecting it, and nurturing it, and those who tell lies about Islam and Muslims... and others who are characterized by hypocrisy.

Therefore, we must understand what the Sharia (Islamic law) has deemed good and what it has deemed bad, so that we can distinguish the hypocrite from the sincere, and take appropriate action towards them. We should not trust those who do what contradicts the Sharia while pretending to do what they do out of concern for Islam and Muslims. We should not follow them or support them, or even less than that, by describing them as "Sayyid," otherwise God Almighty will be angry with us.

We Muslims must be the most keen people on Islam and Muslims, and not allow any hypocrite an entry point into our religion and our families, as they are among the most dangerous things we may face these days due to their abundance and the multiplicity of their faces. We must use the Sharia scale to measure the actions of those who claim to be Muslims, for Islam protects us from such evildoers.

We ask God to protect our nation from such criminals, and to guide us to the straight path and the correct scale by which we measure people's behavior, so that we stay away from those whom God does not love. Amen.

Dear friends, until we meet you with another prophetic Hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
