With the Hadith
Harming the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him
We greet you all, dear listeners everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith." We begin with the best greeting: peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
Narrated Anas: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “I have been frightened for the sake of God, and no one has been frightened. I have been harmed for the sake of God, and no one has been harmed. Thirty days and nights have passed for me and Bilal without having any food to eat except for a little that Bilal could hide under his armpit.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and sound Hadith.
It is mentioned in Tuhfat Al-Ahwadhi in explaining Jami Al-Tirmidhi with a slight modification:
"His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (I have been frightened): From intimidation, meaning I was threatened and warned with torture and killing
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (and no one has been frightened) meaning like what I was frightened with
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (and I have been harmed) from harm, meaning by action after intimidation by word
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (for the sake of God) meaning in showing His religion and elevating His word
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (anyone) meaning from the people at that time
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (and it has come) meaning passed
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him (thirty between a day and a night) Al-Tayyibi said: Confirmation of inclusiveness, meaning thirty consecutive days and nights, nothing is missing from it from time
And the meaning: that Bilal was my companion at that time and we had nothing to eat except a little, as much as Bilal would take under his armpit. And the discussion has already been advanced in combining the different narrations in the tightness of the livelihood of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions and its vastness in the chapter on the livelihood of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his family."
Dear listeners:
When the Mother of the Believers, Khadija bint Khuwaylid, may God be pleased with her, took pity on the state of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and saw him carrying the new message to his people, tiring himself out, and facing what he faced in carrying it, she said to him: Rest, O cousin. He, peace and blessings be upon him, replied: There is no rest after today, Khadija.
The matter, in the eyes of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, is greater than calculating rest in it, and the burden of the cause is as heavy as carrying it, the opposites of rest, if the carrier of the cause realizes his responsibilities in the cause and feels the greatness of the work he is about to do.
The time has come for Muslims, men and women, to connect night with day to achieve the great goal, the establishment of the second righteous caliphate, the promised one, near, God willing. Here are your enemies, the enemies of Islam, making the nation taste various kinds of humiliation and torment, from Muslim women raped in the prisons of Uzbekistan and elsewhere to those carrying the corpses of infants in Gaza.
Here are your enemies connecting night with day to eliminate our religion; they are spying, arresting, slaughtering, misleading, and imposing on us the foolish rulers to speak in our name against our will, controlling our will, distorting our demands, persecuting our honorable people, and working to bury the voice of the caliphate before it is born. Are we not more worthy of diligence than them. Are we not more worthy of rolling up our sleeves than them. Hasn't the time come for us to say to ourselves and our families as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said it after the revelation came down to him directly, realizing the weight of the trust: "There is no rest after today, Khadija." Yes, we are more worthy of giving than them. They are in the camp of falsehood and we are in the camp of truth. They are the people of disbelief, immorality, and hypocrisy. And we are the people of piety, honor, and dignity. They are slaves of the world, and we are the knights of the coming caliphate, God willing. They trade in consciences and souls, they trade in blood and honor, but we trade in a trade that will never perish. We trade with the One in whose hand is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, so that we may win the glory of this world and the hereafter from a generous Lord.
Dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
