With the Hadith
"Chapter on the Most Contentious Adversary"
We greet you all, dear listeners everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting, peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
It came in Sahih Muslim in Al-Nawawi's explanation "with modification" in "Chapter on the Most Contentious Adversary"
Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us from Ibn Juraij from Ibn Abi Mulaykah from Aisha who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "The most hateful of men to God is the most contentious adversary."
The saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: (The most hateful of men to God is the most contentious adversary) is with the "kh" open and the "sad" broken, and (the most contentious) is fiercely argumentative, taken from the two sides of the valley, because whenever an argument is presented against him, he takes another side. As for (the adversary), he is skilled in arguing. What is condemned is arguing falsely to raise a right or establish falsehood. And God knows best.
Dear listeners:
Our religion is a religion of mercy, and the Lord of the Worlds addressed His noble Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, by saying: "And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds," and after that He says to him (regarding this mercy): "And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have dispersed from about you." So, mercy was with the child, the old man, the woman, and even the animal. Yet, we see among the sons of the nation today those who look at their Muslim brothers with a look tainted by hostility and animosity. Why? Because they do not agree with his opinion, for example, or they do not see what he sees. This matter is undoubtedly rejected, because the Muslim is merciful to the Muslim, but he is even merciful to the animal. Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, said: We were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a journey, and he went to relieve himself, and we saw a red bird with two chicks, so we took her chicks, and the red bird came fluttering, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came and said: "Who has grieved this by [taking] her offspring? Return her offspring to her." And he saw a village of ants that we had burned, and he said, "Who burned this?" We said: We did. He said: "It is not appropriate to punish with fire except the Lord of the Fire." Narrated by Abu Dawood with a sound chain of narration. Yes, this is our religion, O Muslims, merciful to animals, so should we not be merciful among ourselves? And the question remains: How was mercy lost among us? Where did it go? And how does it return? There is no doubt that the materialistic, capitalist atmospheres in which we live today, due to our client rulers who are traitors to their religion and their nation, and to its correct Islamic thought, are the reason for the loss of this good trait. So, the nation must work diligently and with the utmost energy to regain this high moral character, and other good morals, by overthrowing these rulers from their high positions, and installing a caliph in their place, who will rule us with God's law and with the morality of mercy, so we will be happy in our lives, in this world and the hereafter. O God, hasten that for us, O God, Amen. Amen.
Dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic Hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
