With the Hadith
"Chapter: Let none of you die except while having good thoughts of Allah"
We greet you all, dear listeners, everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith" and we begin with the best greeting, so peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
It is mentioned in Sahih Imam Muslim in Al-Nawawi's explanation "with modification" in the chapter "Let none of you die except while having good thoughts of Allah."
Yahya bin Yahya narrated to us, Yahya bin Zakaria informed us from Al-A'mash from Abi Sufyan from Jabir who said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, three days before his death saying: "Let none of you die except while having good thoughts of Allah."
His saying, peace and blessings be upon him: (Let none of you die except while having good thoughts of Allah) and in another version: except while thinking well of Allah Almighty. The scholars said: This is a warning against despair and an encouragement of hope at the end. The scholars said: The meaning of having good thoughts of Allah Almighty is to think that He will have mercy on him and forgive him. They said: In a state of health, one should be fearful and hopeful, and they should be equal, and it was said: Fear should be more likely, so if the signs of death approach, hope prevails or is pure; because the purpose of fear is to refrain from sins and evils, and to be keen on doing more acts of obedience and good deeds, and this has become impossible or mostly impossible in this situation, so it is desirable to have good thoughts, which include poverty towards God Almighty and submission to Him.
Dear listeners:
We must have good thoughts of God Almighty in every aspect of our lives, for good thoughts are a form of worship, and it is authentic from Ibn Masoud's saying: "By the One besides whom there is no god, no believing servant has been given anything better than having good thoughts of God Almighty, and by the One besides whom there is no god, no servant has good thoughts of God Almighty except that God Almighty gives him his thought; that is because the good is in His hand."
At the time of death - as mentioned in the hadith - we must have good thoughts of God Almighty, and in times of distress and hardship, in times of narrow living and being overwhelmed by debt, and when supplicating as well, for it is authentic that he - peace and blessings be upon him - said: "Supplicate to God while you are certain of being answered," so if you supplicate to God Almighty, then have good thoughts of God Almighty that He will answer your supplication.
And I call upon God until it is as if I see with beautiful thoughts what God is doing
And when repenting, how much do we also need to have good thoughts of God Almighty? It was narrated from Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, from the Prophet - peace and blessings be upon him - in what he narrated from his Lord Almighty - who said: «A servant committed a sin, and said: O God, forgive me my sin. So the Blessed and Exalted said: My servant committed a sin and knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Then he returned and sinned, and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. So the Blessed and Exalted said: My servant committed a sin and knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Then he returned and sinned, and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. So the Blessed and Exalted said: My servant committed a sin and knew that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Do what you will, for I have forgiven you.» Narrated by Muslim.
Dear listeners:
Good thoughts of God Almighty are contrasted by bad thoughts, and this is dangerous, very dangerous, for whoever has bad thoughts here has fallen into what is forbidden, and it is as if he is complaining about God with this bad thought, the tongue of his condition says: "My Lord has wronged me and did not give me what I deserve."
And here you say: Whoever thinks that God will not help him...whoever thinks that God will not change the state of the nation in these difficult times, has strayed from the truth and has fallen into what the Sharia has forbidden. God Almighty helped His prophets when they were in a state of great weakness, so this is a tradition from the traditions and laws of the universe, that victory and goodness will come to this nation after hardship, misery, and fatigue, not that it will come on a plate of gold, and we believe in God and trust in Him, and we think well of Him Almighty, so we realize that this matter is going to happen soon, very soon, and we realize that we are not waiting for the Caliph of the Muslims to come on the wing of an angel from the angels of heaven; there must be work, "Indeed, God will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves," this is the thought that we think of God Almighty, that He will achieve the result for these actions. And the reality of life today speaks of the nearness of that, how can it not be when the attack on Islam is increasing every day, every hour, and every minute? How can it not be when the Muslims have returned to stand in the ranks of those working to restore the Caliphate? How can it not be when the nation has raised the banners of monotheism in Syria and elsewhere, demanding the implementation of the Quran? These signs and many others are driving the nation to the real path of real change by establishing the state of Islam soon, God willing.
O God, we believe in You, trust in You, and think well of You, O God, fulfill what You have promised us.
O God, hasten for us a Caliphate in which the disunity of the Muslims is gathered, lifting from them what they are in of affliction, O God, illuminate the earth with the light of Your honorable face. O God, Amen, Amen.
Dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
