Rulers Who Obstruct Judgments
We greet you all, dear loved ones, everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith" and we begin with the best greeting, peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
On the authority of Ibn Buraydah, on the authority of his father, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "I used to forbid you from visiting graves, so visit them." Narrated by Muslim No. 977.
Dear listeners:
Visiting graves reminds us of death, and reminds us of the Hereafter, which drives us to fear God Almighty and to rush into good deeds, and it softens our hearts, so we move away from hypocrisy, stubbornness, and arrogance. In the grave, all the questions of the world disappear: Who are you and who is your father? How much money do you have? What is your balance in the bank? Only one question remains: What good deeds have you done?
O Muslims:
Many of us come to this world and leave it only working for this world, for no reason except that the concept of the Hereafter has been obscured from him. Today we see people playing and having fun, and the concepts of the Hereafter have disappeared from them, so the poet's saying applied to them:
O you who sell the religion for the world and its falsehood Are you satisfied with your religion for something that is not worth it
How long will you be in amusement and play While death is rushing towards you, with its mouth open
You play while death is our evening and morning Whoever's morning is not met by the face of death will meet it in the evening
Yes; concepts have been obscured and actions for the Hereafter have been disrupted, and people have begun to complain about the pains and worries of life, and that is only due to the lack of awareness of the idea of life and death. Life cannot be lived except with religion, with Islam, and with its rulings. Happiness is proportional to the application of the rulings, and misery and unhappiness are proportional to the distance from them. Yes; the concepts of death and the grave have been obscured, due to the capitalist principle that only believes in what it sees of utilitarianism and materialism, and due to the vile rulers who applied it to the nation. So, will the nation return to the concepts of its religion? Will it work to apply the law of its Lord? Will it work to appoint a caliph who will rule it by the Qur’an, thus lifting from it the ignorance and adherence to the rulers?
O God, hasten us with a righteous caliphate on the Prophetic methodology, in which the scattered affairs of the Muslims are gathered, and lift from them the affliction they are in. O God, illuminate the earth with the light of Your noble countenance. O God, Amen, Amen.
