With the Hadith
How Trust is Lost
We greet you all, dear listeners everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting: Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
Al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, narrated from Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "When trust is lost, wait for the Hour." He said: "How is it lost, O Messenger of God?" He said: "When authority is entrusted to those who are not worthy of it, wait for the Hour."
Al-Kirmani said: [The meaning of "authority" is the kind of matters that relate to religion, such as the caliphate, emirate, judiciary, issuing fatwas, and others]. He also said: [The meaning of "authority is entrusted to those who are not worthy of it" is that the imams have been entrusted by God over His servants and have been obligated to advise them, so they should appoint people of religion. If they entrust those who are not people of religion, then they have lost the trust that God Almighty has entrusted to them].
Dear listeners:
We live in an era in which governance, which is the head of the matter, has been entrusted to those who are not worthy of it, the treacherous rulers whom we hear and see. They are not qualified to rule because the colonizing infidel is the one who appointed them and set them over the necks of Muslims, inflicting them with the worst torment and ruling them with clear disbelief, and because they cannot manage the straps of sandals if they are broken. They are like rulers and like men, and because of them, trust and trusts are lost, and betrayal and betrayals prevail, and their rule is taken by everyone who is content to be one of their evils, from those who follow them and are pleased with them and do not deny their actions from the scholars and pseudo-scholars, the fatwa-issuers, judges, and others. These are the ones who have betrayed God, His Messenger, and the Muslims, and have betrayed their trust while they know, these are the ones who mock the verses of God and distort the words from some of their places, these are the heedless, the oblivious, the wasters of trust, the trust of governance and the trust of knowledge.
Trust will not return to the earth unless authority is entrusted to its people, who are the people of religion who call for its establishment through the establishment of the second caliphate on the method of prophethood, through which trusts are found and betrayals are lifted. O God, make it near and make us among its soldiers and witnesses.
Dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
