With the Hadith
Whoever wakes up safe in his home...
We greet you all, dear listeners, everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Hadith," and we begin with the best greeting: peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
Al-Tirmidhi narrated in his Sunan, saying: Amr ibn Malik and Mahmoud ibn Khidash al-Baghdadi told us: Marwan ibn Muawiyah told us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Shumayla al-Ansari told us from Salama ibn Ubaid Allah ibn Mihsan al-Khatmi from his father, who was a companion, he said:
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever among you wakes up safe in his home, healthy in his body, having his day's food, it is as if the world has been gathered for him."
Abu Isa said: This is a good, strange hadith that we only know from the hadith of Marwan ibn Muawiyah, and "heezaat" means gathered. Muhammad ibn Ismail told us this: Al-Humaidi told us: Marwan ibn Muawiyah told us something similar, and in the chapter on Abi al-Darda'
His saying: (Whoever among you wakes up): that is, O believers. (Safe): that is, not afraid of an enemy. (In his home): For the well-known kasra of the sin, that is, in himself, and it was said: the sirb is the group, so the meaning is in his family and children, and it was said: with the fatha of the sin, that is, in his path and way, and it was said: with two fathas, that is, in his house. This is what Al-Qari mentioned from some commentators. Al-Turbashti said, may God have mercy on him: Some insisted on al-sarab with the fatha of the sin and the ra, that is, in his house, and he did not mention in it a narration: Even if his saying were valid that al-sarab is applied to every house, his saying would be stronger than all sayings, except that al-sarab is said to be the house that is in the ground. And in the dictionary: Al-sarb is the road, and with the kasra, the road, the mind, the heart, the soul, and the group, and with the tahrik, the burrow of the wild animal and the excavation under the ground, end. So, the intention of the hadith is to exaggerate the achievement of security, even in a house under the ground, narrow like a wild animal's burrow, or to liken it to it in its secrecy and non-loss.
(Healthy): noun of the object from the باب of mutual action, that is, healthy and safe from illnesses and diseases.
(In his body): that is, his body, outwardly and inwardly.
(Having his day's food): that is, enough food for him from a lawful source.
(It is as if it has been gathered): in the passive voice from al-hiyaza, which is gathering and joining.
(For him): the pronoun refers to "whoever," linking the sentence, that is, the world has been gathered for him. (The world) and it was added in Al-Mishkat in its entirety.
Al-Qari said, that is, in its entirety, and al-hadhafir are the sides, and it was said the tops, and its singular is hidhfar or hudhfur. And the meaning is as if he was given the whole world, end.
Dear listeners:
This noble hadith is one of the comprehensive words that showed us the ultimate needs of a person in this worldly life of the basics without which his life cannot be stable, which are:
-
Security, which means reassurance about oneself, money, children, and honor. This is provided by a suitable home that protects from heat, cold, and the misfortunes of time... A comfortable home is one of the most important needs of a person that he seeks to obtain. And he has the right to do so.
-
Physical, mental, and psychological health that makes its owner capable of facing the challenges of life... and makes his mind capable of thinking about its complexities... so he engages in work actively and strongly to earn his livelihood and the livelihood of those he supports, and he engages in worship with enthusiasm and activity, so he obtains acceptance from God, by His permission... and he bears the burden of himself and his family, but also the burden of his nation as his Lord has charged him with.
-
Food: and food: what the human body needs of food as stated in the Al-Waseet Dictionary. And as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, defined it when he said: Enough for a person are a few bites that keep him upright
These basic human needs must be available to every individual so that he can live a decent life and be a righteous person capable of carrying out the costs of life....
Are these things available to every person in this era? A broad look at the world shows us the hungry, the naked, the sick, and the fearful filling the earth from Africa to Asia to Europe and America, even these countries that claim to uphold human rights... poverty, disease, fear, and insecurity are spreading among their peoples.
The world needs a responsible system and a compassionate, caring state that applies its laws, cares for its individuals, protects them, and provides each individual with the basic needs of security, health, and food... and enables him to obtain welfare and luxuries as much as he can... This system that the world lacks is none other than the system of Islam, and this state is the state of Islam, the state of the Caliphate, which Muslims lack, but rather humanity lacks... So, shall we hasten to restore it anew so that the world can once again enjoy sufficiency and security?
Dear listeners, until we meet you with another prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
