With the Noble Hadith
We are pleased with Allah as our Lord
Greetings to you, dear listeners everywhere, in a new episode of your program "With the Noble Hadith." We begin with the best greeting, so peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
It is mentioned in Sunan Abi Dawood - Chapters on Sleep - Whoever says when he wakes up and when he goes to sleep: "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, and with Muhammad as a Messenger," it is incumbent upon Allah to please him.
Hafs bin Omar told us: Shu'bah told us from Abi Aqil from Sabiq bin Najiyah from Abi Salam that he was in the mosque of Homs, and a man passed by him, and they said: This is the servant of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. So he stood up to him and said: Tell me a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, that no men have passed between you and him. He said: I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: Whoever says when he wakes up and when he goes to sleep: "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, and with Muhammad as a Messenger," it is incumbent upon Allah to please him.
It is mentioned in the explanation of the hadith in the book Awn al-Mabood, Explanation of Sunan Abi Dawood - Chapters on Sleep - We are pleased with Allah as our Lord

(To him): Meaning to the man
(He said): Meaning Abu Sallam (That no men have passed between you and him): In As-Sirah: The hands exchanged it, this one took it once and that one took it once, and the meaning is that there was no intermediary of men between you and him, peace and blessings be upon him.
(We are pleased with Allah as our Lord): Tamyiz, which includes contentment with the legal rulings and cosmic issues
(It is incumbent upon Allah): It is the predicate of Kana
(To please him): Meaning to give him a great reward until he is pleased, and it is the subject of Kana.
Al-Mundhiri said: An-Nasa'i narrated it.
Dear listeners:
We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, and with Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, as a prophet and messenger. These are words that the noble Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, taught us to say when we wake up and when we go to sleep. Every Muslim must remember and remind himself to say: "We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, and with Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, as a messenger and prophet." In it is the realization of the meaning of the Islamic faith, and in it is a daily message to the heart and mind to surrender and be content with this faith, and in it is a renewal of the covenant with God Almighty day and night, by surrendering and obeying Him. This contentment, surrender, and obedience must include all aspects of a Muslim's life. He should not surrender in the aspect of worship, for example, and leave the rest of life's aspects, such as economic, political, and social matters, and even matters of governance.
Rather, this surrender means that we are pleased that God is our God and lawgiver, and from His law we take all treatments for our life's affairs, so sovereignty is only for God and for God's law.
This hadith reminds us of His saying: "The decision is only for Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him." In the interpretation of Al-Tabari of this verse, he says: He is the One who commanded that you and all His creation worship none but Allah, who is the One who is worthy of worship and worship is purely for Him alone, excluding everything else besides Him. As: 14764 - Al-Muthanna told me: Ishaq told us: Abdullah bin Abi Jaafar told us, from his father, from Al-Rabee bin Anas from Abi Al-Aaliyah, regarding His saying: "The decision is only for Allah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him." He said: The religion was founded on sincerity to God alone, without partner.
Brothers of Islam, be content with nothing but Allah as your Lord, be content with nothing but Islam as your religion, and be content with nothing but Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, as your prophet. This means that your constitution must be derived from the Book and the Sunnah, and your constitution must be Qur'anic and Prophetic.
May God bless our master Muhammad and his family and companions and grant them peace
Dear listeners, until we meet you with another Prophetic hadith, we leave you in God's care, and peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
