Hebrew news sites reported that the occupation army is facing "a new disaster" in the Gaza Strip, in light of what it described as "difficult and complex fighting" that has been taking place for hours in several areas, especially in the eastern side of Gaza City. The Hebrew Hadashot B'zman website reported the death and injury of soldiers in the Israeli army in a security incident in the Gaza Strip, and that the "Hannibal" procedure was activated after suspicions of losing track of a soldier who was later found. This comes amid frequent reports of losses during violent clashes with the Palestinian resistance in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood and Jabalia Al-Balad, where smoke bombs and heavy artillery shelling were used to secure an air evacuation operation carried out by helicopters from inside the sector. This development comes in light of the continued aggression against the Gaza Strip, which since dawn today alone has resulted in the martyrdom of at least 28 Palestinians, including a number of women and children.
