The city of Al-Bab in the eastern Aleppo countryside witnessed, at dawn on Friday, a security operation described as qualitative, which took place in unprecedented coordination between the International Coalition forces and security elements affiliated with the Syrian government, and resulted in the death and arrest of a number of "ISIS" elements. Local sources confirmed that the operation targeted a house in the "Al-Boughazal" neighborhood inside the city of Al-Bab, which was inhabited by a prominent leader in the organization, holding Iraqi nationality, and believed to be the official spokesman for the organization. The sources indicated that the leader arrived in the city about a week ago, accompanied by a number of his escorts, some of whom were killed during the operation. American helicopters participated in the operation, carrying out an airborne landing on the targeted site, while units from the Ministries of Defense and Interior in the Syrian regime government closed the surrounding streets and secured the vicinity of the landing, amid intensive reconnaissance flights in the skies of the region. Activists circulated scenes showing convoys belonging to the Syrian Ministries of Interior and Defense during the implementation of the operation, which is the first of its kind in terms of direct coordination between the coalition forces and the Syrian regime, after previous operations relied mainly on the "Syrian Democratic Forces" in their areas of control, or were carried out independently by the International Coalition.

Kurdish sources revealed the postponement of the meeting that was scheduled to be held in the French capital, Paris, between representatives of the Syrian government and a delegation from the "Autonomous Administration," at the direct request of the "International Coalition," which officially conveyed the decision to the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF), pointing out that holding the meeting in the current circumstances "may harm the negotiation process." A Kurdish source involved in the preparations confirmed, in statements to the "Al-Sharq Al-Awsat" newspaper, that the meeting was canceled at the request of a government agency due to rapid security developments in the governorate of Suwayda in the south of the country, which were considered an indication of the fragility of the security situation and the government's inability to control the scene, according to him. The source explained that the anticipated meeting was the result of arrangements that were hastened after the Amman meeting on July 19, which brought together the US Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, the Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Al-Shaibani, and the leader of "QSD," Mazloum Abdi. He pointed out that the International Coalition believes that accelerating the steps towards broader negotiations may not be useful at this stage, especially with the approaching announcement of executive steps for the March 10 agreement.

The so-called "spiritual authority of the Alawi sect in Syria," represented by Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, accused the special investigation committee into violations in the Syrian coast of "bias and beautifying crimes," and demanded the adoption of a "federal political system that guarantees equal representation for all Syrian components." In a recorded statement issued by Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, it was stated that "the religious authority refuses to recognize the investigation committee or its results," accusing it of being "a tool to justify violence and cover up the perpetrators," according to his expression. He also called for "the formation of independent international investigation committees to look into the violations committed against civilians," and considered that there are no "remnants of the ousted regime" and that this is an excuse that was fabricated. The statement held what it described as the "terrorist system" responsible for the attempts to dismantle Syrian society, claiming that it uses religion to justify violence, and stressing that the fate of the Alawi sect is an integral part of the fate of Syria. He called for the establishment of a "decentralized or federal system based on a consensus constitution," stressing that a just political solution is the only way to end the suffering of Syrians, according to the statement.

In a newspaper interview with "Al-Nahar," Ilham Ahmed, the co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, addressed the relationship with the "Syrian Democratic Forces." Ahmed said that the implementation of the March 10 agreement, especially with regard to the integration of "QSD," requires an agreement on a common understanding of the issue of integration, while adhering to the principle of decentralization as a way to address deep-rooted crises. Ahmed stressed the need for the Syrian government to take a clear position on what happened in the coast and Suwayda, and to establish independent courts to prosecute those responsible for violations against civilians, considering that official silence weakens confidence in state institutions and fuels social tension.

The Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, affirmed that his country rejects the continued presence of the armed formations belonging to the "Syrian Democratic Forces" under political pretexts, stressing the need to implement the agreement with the Syrian government without preconditions, and to disarm them completely. In statements during a television interview, Fidan considered that "QSD's" failure to commit to implementing the integration agreement with the Syrian government is "unacceptable," adding that "those formations must take sincere and unconditional steps towards reaching a final settlement with Damascus." He added that "the continued armed presence in Syria cannot be allowed under the guise of political negotiations."

The US envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, said that a stable, secure, and unified Syria is built on the basis of great neighbors and allies. This came as a comment on a tripartite meeting he held with the foreign ministers of Syria and France, Friday, in the capital, Paris. He added via a tweet in (X): "As Foreign Minister Rubio said, conflicts end thanks to the "persistent and vital diplomacy that the United States seeks to engage in," and adds: "We will continue to work on building prosperity in Syria in cooperation with friends and partners." Barak had previously announced during the past few hours a meeting he held with Syrian officials and their counterparts from the Jewish entity in Paris," and said that "Our goal is dialogue and calming the situation, and we have achieved exactly that." The Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Al-Shaibani, met with his French counterpart, Jean-Noël Barrot, and the US Special Envoy to Syria, in a meeting that focused on supporting Syria's sovereignty and stability. The two sides discussed mechanisms for joint cooperation in combating terrorism, and ways to enhance international efforts to prosecute those involved in acts of violence inside Syria, according to SANA news agency.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated, on Saturday, that 57 martyrs, including 3 martyrs who were recovered, and 512 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours. The ministry indicated that the total number of casualties of the aggression has risen to 59,733 martyrs and 144,477 injuries since October 7, 2023 AD. It pointed out that the total number of martyrs and injuries from March 18, 2025 until today, amounted to 8,581 martyrs and 32,436 injuries. The "Government Media Office" confirmed that the Gaza Strip is on the verge of an imminent mass slaughter in the coming days if infant formula is not allowed in immediately. In a press statement, today, Saturday, it warned "of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe that the occupation is committing in the Gaza Strip, where more than 100,000 children under the age of two, including 40,000 infants under the age of one, face the risk of imminent mass death in the coming few days, in light of the complete lack of infant formula and nutritional supplements, and the continued closure of crossings and prevention of entry of the simplest basic necessities."
