According to the Syrian Ministry of Interior, Nasser worked in the Jabal al-Turkman area, before moving to the village of al-Zuwaiqat in Jabal al-Akrad, where he supervised targeting operations against sites on the Kabina mountains. At the invitation of Syrian detainees inside the Lebanese "Roumieh" prison, Syrian activists and human rights activists organized an angry sit-in on Friday evening in front of the "Jousieh" border crossing, in protest against the intransigence of the Lebanese authorities and their slowness in dealing with the file of the release of Syrian detainees. The protesters raised banners demanding the immediate release of the detainees, holding the Iranian side responsible for "kidnapping the decision" to resolve their file from the hands of the Lebanese government. Human rights and popular pressure has been increasing for weeks to demand that Beirut close this humanitarian file, amid reports of deteriorating conditions for detainees inside "Roumieh", which is considered one of the largest prisons in Lebanon.
The regional natural gas transportation line linking Syria to Turkey, passing through Azerbaijan, was opened today during an official ceremony held in the presence of the Syrian Minister of Energy, Muhammad al-Bashir, the Turkish Minister of Energy, Alp Arslan Bayraktar, and the Azerbaijani Minister of Economy, Mikail Jabbarov, in addition to representatives from the Qatar Fund for Development. Minister of Energy, Engineer Muhammad al-Bashir, affirmed that the launch of the line represents a strategic step towards strengthening energy security in Syria, pointing out that the first phase of the project will witness the supply of about 3.4 million cubic meters of gas per day, coming from Azerbaijan through Turkish territory, as a contribution from the State of Qatar. The minister explained that this amount of gas will contribute to raising the production capacity of power generation stations, which will positively reflect on improving the electrical supply in various Syrian regions, by adding about four additional operating hours per day.
On the 666th day of the war of extermination on Gaza, the occupation's fires claimed more lives in the Strip, and the number of martyrs searching for food exceeded the number of bombing martyrs. More than 90 people have been martyred since dawn yesterday, Friday, at distribution centers in the south and near aid trucks in the north. This coincided with the registration of at least 3 deaths in Gaza hospitals due to malnutrition, amid UN warnings of indications that the sector is entering the stage of famine and that more than 500,000 people are facing the risk of starvation. Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed, through a video clip, the deteriorating situation of the prisoners and broadcast images of a prisoner with a emaciated body, and said that the government of Benjamin Netanyahu decided to starve them instead of getting them out in a deal. In contrast, US envoy Stephen Whitkopf announced, after a 5-hour visit to an aid center in Rafah, that he is working on developing a new aid plan and giving President Donald Trump a clear understanding of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Hizb ut-Tahrir / Sudan Province organized yesterday, Friday, a vigil in front of the Old Mosque in Port Sudan after Friday prayers, in which the party's youth raised banners with the following written on them: ﴿And if they seek your help in religion, then you must help﴾. How long will you continue to fail your people in Gaza, and God will ask you about them?! If we had a caliph, he would have authorized us that whoever is hearing and obedient should not pray Asr except in Palestine. O nation of two billion: Is it easy for you to see the people of Gaza die by barrels, missiles, and hunger while you watch?! Is there a crime greater than keeping the armies in the barracks while the Jewish entity slaughters our women, children, and elders?! O nation of two billion: Establish the Caliphate to liberate Gaza and all the occupied Muslim lands. The Jewish entity is the shadow of the existing regimes in the Muslim lands, and when the thing disappears, its shadow disappears. The believers are but brothers, so help your brothers in Gaza, if you are believers. The official spokesman for Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Sudan Province addressed the crowds of worshipers, as they were leaving the mosque, where they interacted with the vigil and with the speech with takbir and tahleel, and expressed their solidarity with the cause of the Muslims in Palestine, and waited until the end of the vigil despite the intense heat of the weather.
The United States announced on Thursday the imposition of sanctions on officials in the Authority and the PLO and refused to grant them visas to America as punishment for internationalizing their conflict with the Jewish entity, and the Foreign Minister of the Jewish entity thanked America for that, saying: "The Palestinian Authority must pay the price for its incitement against us." This is a comment: written for the radio of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir by Bilal al-Tamimi: (Comment).
The governor of the Darfur region and head of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Mani Arko Minawi, warned of the danger of dividing Sudan, while accusing Sudanese officials of abandoning Darfur after controlling the center of the country. Minawi warned before a gathering of tribal leaders in the city of Port Sudan, yesterday, Friday, of "plans to divide Sudan," stressing that the people will work to thwart these plans. He explained that the country cannot be divided in the way that the Rapid Support Forces want. He affirmed that if all parties rejecting the Rapid Support project unite, that would be enough to prevent the formation of a parallel government (affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces). Minawi said that some Sudanese officials believe that controlling the states of Al-Jazira (in the center of the country) and Khartoum is sufficient, arguing that the peripheral regions have been witnessing conflict since before independence. While he pointed to "the presence of a senior Sudanese official who believes that the war outside Khartoum is not important," Minawi warned that Darfur is not just a geography, but rather a region full of wealth and resources and with population groups intertwined with African countries.
US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he had ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines in areas close to Russia in response to threats from Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and former Deputy President of Russia. Trump wrote in a post on the Truth Social platform, "Based on the foolish and highly provocative statements made by Medvedev.. I ordered the deployment of two nuclear submarines in the appropriate areas, in anticipation that these stupid and inflammatory statements would entail more than that." Trump continued, "Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this is not one of those cases." Medvedev considered in a post on X on July 28 that Trump's setting a deadline for Moscow to end the war in Ukraine was "a threat and a step towards war."
