Jewish Entity Refuses to Open Rafah Crossing
Al Jazeera Net, 10/19/2025 - The Prime Minister of the Jewish entity, Netanyahu, said that the Rafah crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt will remain closed until further notice, and that its reopening will depend on Hamas handing over the bodies of the Jewish prisoners.
Netanyahu's statements came after the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo announced the reopening of the Rafah crossing as of tomorrow, Monday, "to enable Palestinians residing in Egypt who wish to return to the Gaza Strip to travel."
Hamas said in a statement that the decision of the war criminal Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, to "prevent the opening of the Rafah crossing until further notice is a blatant violation of the terms of the ceasefire agreement and a denial of the obligations he pledged before the mediators and guarantors."
On another level, instead of criticizing Netanyahu, the US State Department said late Saturday that it had received credible reports of an imminent violation of the agreement by Hamas against the residents of Gaza.
The ministry added in a statement, "If Hamas proceeds with this attack, measures will be taken to protect the residents of Gaza and maintain the integrity of the ceasefire." Without providing any details regarding an alleged attack, it may be talking about an attack on groups of agents of the Jewish entity in Gaza.

Qatar Announces Agreement Between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Immediate Ceasefire
Al-Arabiya, 10/19/2025 - The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire in talks held in Doha mediated by Qatar and Turkey, after at least 10 people were killed in Pakistani airstrikes following a previous truce.
The ministry said in a statement that the two sides agreed during the talks "to an immediate ceasefire and to establish mechanisms concerned with consolidating lasting peace and stability between the two countries." It continued, saying: "The two parties agreed to hold follow-up meetings in the next few days to ensure the sustainability of the ceasefire and verify its implementation in a reliable and sustainable manner."
From time to time, unfortunate clashes occur between the Pakistani and Taliban armies along the so-called Durand Line, which British colonialism made a divider between the two countries and caused multiple problems because it divided the Pashtun community into two parts along the borders of the two countries. Neither of the two countries has taken a courageous decision to unite and join each other, and they remain, according to the instructions of the colonialists, divided into Afghans and Pakistanis, with the unity of religion and belief for them all and the language for many of them.
While America wants Pakistan to pressure the Taliban to help contain it and put it under America's umbrella, Pakistan accuses the Taliban government of implementing an Indian agenda and threatening the borders and attacking Pakistani soldiers, which the Taliban denies.

Wall Street Journal: Soros Increases Grant Distribution After Start of Tensions with Trump
RT, 10/19/2025 - The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, that billionaire George Soros and his affiliated organizations have increased their grants in various fields following tensions with the administration of US President Donald Trump.
The newspaper wrote: "While threats from the administration are increasing, George and his son Alex Soros are distributing grants more than ever."
According to sources familiar with the spending of Soros' organizations, the Open Society Foundation plans to allocate $1.4 billion in grants this year to various causes from the United States to Africa.
Reports also stated that George Soros himself donated $10 million to the Democratic campaign to redraw electoral districts in California, which was launched in response to similar Republican efforts elsewhere. This donation is said to be the largest to date in support of the California campaign.
The New York Times reported in September that the US Department of Justice ordered federal prosecutors in several counties to prepare plans to investigate the activities of George Soros' Open Society Foundation.
Trump later indicated that Soros and Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, may face legal problems if they are found to have provided financial support to leftist radicals.
These organizations were the main supporter of the Orange Revolutions in many countries of the world, and today they are turning to do what resembles supporting a revolution against Trump in America itself, so Trump levels accusations against them.
