Sabah News: The official spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Sudan, Ibrahim Othman, in an interview with (Sabah News)

Al-Burhan will sacrifice the Islamic movement despite its support for him
• America wants to divide Sudan into small states
• The formation of a founding government is the beginning of Darfur's secession
• The Quartet is no different from Naivasha, and Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia are just window dressing
• The Steadfastness Alliance may be given a chance under military rule
• The Rapid Support Forces are expected to withdraw from Kordofan, then negotiations will consolidate the military's authority
For years, Hizb ut-Tahrir has been warning against the dismantling of Sudan and pointing out the danger of this by issuing statements, holding seminars, and through its periodic forums and various platforms. It is the only party that has consistently issued statements about every event and clarified its positions clearly and frankly. The newspaper sat down with the party's official spokesman, Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), after the fall of El Fasher to talk about its causes and consequences.
Port Sudan: Ali Daoud
* We begin our question to you with the latest event, which is the Rapid Support Forces' control of El Fasher?
– The fall of El Fasher was an expected event, as all the garrisons of the Darfur region states were taken over, except for the Sixth Division in El Fasher, which was delayed (handing it over) so that the (handover) would not be clear, if the expression is correct.
* What about the role of the Darfur movements that sided with the army?
– The Darfur movements, the Sudan Liberation Movement, the Minawi faction, and Justice and Equality, took a neutral stance for a long period during the war, then became involved in the war. After they learned that America wanted to separate Darfur and had been seeking this for a long time, Omar al-Bashir stated earlier that America wanted to divide Sudan into five small states, and Naivasha was the beginning of the fragmentation.
* But the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan granted the armed movements the rule of Darfur?
– The division of tracks is one of the things that reinforces the policy of fragmentation that the Rapid Support Forces and the army leaders sought, and America played a role in this to separate Darfur through agents, and the agent is the one who achieves the interests of others knowingly or unknowingly, and the separation of Darfur is done by the people of the country to create armed movements.
(He paused for a moment, then continued, saying)
The secession of Darfur is an old idea, as it enjoys large and vast areas, and with the Juba negotiations, the pace of secession advocates in Darfur and the north increased, and the formation of a founding government is an advanced step towards secession, if not today, then tomorrow. Unfortunately, there are paid pens seeking to market America's conspiracies.
* Is it possible for the Quartet initiative to be the basis for a solution to the war?
– The Quartet is no different from Naivasha, and the three countries, Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, are just window dressing so that it appears that the countries in the region and the Islamic world are with Sudan. The truth is that America wants to remove the civilians, the English group, from the scene by demonizing the Steadfastness Alliance since it was called Qahat, then separating Darfur. The infidel does not bring good to the Muslims, and the infidel cannot be a friend. Trump's positions on Gaza are well known. The destruction and devastation was done with American weapons, and America sought to liquidate the Palestinian cause by disarming the resistance with the blessing of the Arab rulers. Trump the criminal does not bring good to the people of Sudan.
* How can we get out of the bottleneck?
– The solution can be in establishing a government with an Islamic ideology that implements what it believes in and applies the rulings of Islam. The caliphate system is the solution. It is truly unfortunate that Islam has been removed from government and politics and replaced by the system of disbelief, and governments have become functional, serving the infidel colonizer. The entire Islamic world has manufactured crises in what is called creative chaos and the oppressive rule that we are living in its last days.
* What do you expect in the coming days?
– The expected withdrawal of the Rapid Support Forces from all areas of Kordofan, then negotiations will consolidate the military's authority in the country. We know that the Islamic Front was used by America to serve its interests and fragment Sudan, and Al-Burhan will eliminate the Islamic movement despite its support for him in the war. It is expected that the Islamists will change their skin, then a government led by civilians will be formed, not a civilian government, according to a statement by Mosaad Boles, Trump's advisor. Authority is with the military, as they did with Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Egypt, and the Steadfastness Alliance will have no presence in the transitional period, as the people will not accept steadfastness, and America may give the Steadfastness Alliance a chance under military rule.
* Do you expect a civilian government after the transitional period?
– No, there will not be a civilian government, and the military by nature does not submit to civilians.
* According to your estimates and your follow-up of reality and its details, when will the war stop?
– The war is made by those who manage it and will not end with a military victory, and the warring factions will not be able to stop it. From where does he decide that, and he is not a party to it?
* In your opinion, what will be the position of the Darfur movements that are fighting alongside the army?
– Frankly, they are in an unenviable position. Three or four months ago, Mani Arko Minawi and Mohamed Bashir Abu Numu stated that the government does not want to lift the siege on El Fasher, and the joint forces do not have the capacity to fight the war without the government's support for them, and they have no real power. The material, in-kind, and logistical support comes to them from the government, and they may return to Darfur under a Hemedti government.
