Motivating People of High Aspirations to Fulfill Their Duty
Allah Almighty said: ﴿And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things﴾, this divine statement confirms that Islam is not just a spiritual sermon, but a comprehensive system of life, which came with a firm belief that convinces the mind and fills the heart with tranquility, and with provisions that organize human life in all its affairs: in governance, economy, society, politics, education and international relations... It is the religion of truth, because it is from God, and it is built on a solid foundation, which is the Islamic faith from which the system emanates, so that man's connection to it is an intellectual connection based on conviction, not imitation or emotion, as it is in accordance with sound nature and addresses the mind, and therefore whoever believes in it with a conscious faith cannot but carry it, call for it, and strive to make it appear and be applied, for carrying Islam is a legal duty, and a great obligation. Allah Almighty said: ﴿And that this is My path, which is straight, so follow it﴾, so have we followed what God has commanded us, especially since we have dedicated ourselves to carry a great trust and change this unjust reality by establishing the Righteous Caliphate?
O brothers: We carry a great trust, which is the trust of Da’wah, the trust of carrying Islam to establish the Deen in the reality of life, and it is the trust of the Messengers, and the legacy of our Prophet and beloved Muhammad ﷺ, and God will ask us about what He has entrusted us with, so let us work for a day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except for those who come to God with a sound heart. Yes, O brothers, today is work and no reckoning, and tomorrow is reckoning and no work; Today we are asked: Have we conveyed the message of our Lord? Have we followed the legal path of change as God commanded us? Have we remained steadfast on the principle without compromise or retreat? For everything is transient, and all dominion is fleeting, and authority is coming to an end. ﴿But the Face of your Lord will remain, Owner of Majesty and Honor﴾.
O honorable ones: What do you think of the situation on the Day of Gathering?! That terrifying situation, the Day when every nursing mother will be distracted from what she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and souls will be distracted and eyes will weep. It is a situation of distress, humiliation, and great panic, from which nothing saves except sincere work in accordance with God's command. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «The wise man is the one who controls himself and works for what comes after death, and the incapable one is the one who follows his own desires and then wishes upon Allah».
O carriers of the Da’wah, O you whom Allah has pleased to be His soldiers on earth: Do the righteous and correct deed, as God has asked for it, not as desires see it or as interests dictate. Stand firm on the path, purify your intentions, adhere to the idea and the method, and be patient as the resolute prophets were patient.
Let us be, O brothers, among those who leave an indelible mark, among those who write with their blood and words the path of the Khilafah and victory, for this path, even if it is long, is the path of honor and eternity, so let us strengthen our resolve, and prepare for the Day of the Greatest Presentation, for the Da’wah is calling, the victory is approaching, and the Ummah is waiting for a lot from us.
O brothers, O carriers of the Da’wah: Listen to what was mentioned in the narration about Abu Dharr: "Renew the ship, for the sea is deep, and increase the supplies, for the journey is long, and purify the work, for the critic is insightful, and lighten the load, for the obstacle is difficult." Yes, the sea is deep, and the trials are raging, and people are floundering, but you are on a light from your Lord, so make your ship strong and tied with the ropes of faith, and do not carry on it except pure work, for the scale is accurate, and the critic is insightful.
Let us be among those with high aspirations, not content with the less, not compromising on the truth, and not succumbing to comfort, for the one with high aspirations is the one who sold himself to God to establish His religion, sees in the Khilafah a promise from God that there is no doubt in, and knows that victory comes with patience, and that the outcome is for the righteous.
Allah Almighty said: ﴿If you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet﴾. So whoever God supports, there is no victor over him, and whoever God forsakes, how can he win?! We have before us an Ummah that is looking forward to change, we have blood in Gaza calling out, and cries from the Al-Aqsa Mosque pleading for help, and treachery encircling the countries from every direction, so have we stood up for the truth, and shouted in the face of falsehood, and moved to support the religion of God?! Let us remember the saying of Al-Hasan Al-Basri: "The world is three days: as for yesterday, it has gone with what was in it, and as for tomorrow, perhaps you will not reach it, and as for today, it is yours, so work in it." Yes, today is our day, so let us work in it, and let us seize what is left of our lives, let us work for we are on the path of our Prophet, and God does not waste the reward of those who do good deeds.
O brothers, O carriers of the Da’wah: Yes, our Da’wah is white and pure like the break of dawn, with no obscurity and no impurities. Our Da’wah is not based on fanaticism, nor is it linked to ties of lineage or interest or geography or worldly interests, but our bond is the Aqeedah, and our principle is Islam, and our starting point is the pleasure of God alone, with no partner. «Be servants of Allah, brothers» This is the advice of our Messenger ﷺ, and we hope to be among those in whom this meaning is realized, as Islam brought brotherhood between the Ansar and the Muhajireen, and they were among the greatest examples of sacrifice and altruism.
O brothers: Carrying the Da’wah is not a job or an intellectual luxury, but it is the work of the prophets and messengers, inheriting their path, and following in their footsteps, so it is a great honor and a great responsibility. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «For Allah to guide one man through you is better for you than possessing red camels», so how many people today need guidance? And how many oppressed people are waiting for relief at our hands?! So do we accept to live without a purpose? To be an extra number in life?! That our lives pass and we are asked: What have we accomplished for our religion and our Ummah?!
No, by God, let us be among the first, among the initiators, among those who leave an impact, not a moan, and build, not wait.
Allah Almighty said: ﴿Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight"﴾, so it is a clear path, with insight, with no ambiguity or doubt, a call to establish the Deen, and to fulfill God Almighty's promise of a Khilafah according to the method of Prophethood.
O brothers: We are not among those who live only to eat and drink, but we are an Ummah of message, an Ummah of leadership, an Ummah of guidance. Let us choose to be like Omar, Saad, Saladin, and Khalid... men who changed the course of history, left their imprints as light, their biography as perfume, and their impact as evidence.
O you who hear these words, hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and do not pay attention to those who discourage you, and do not be preoccupied with those who wail, but be a flame of hope, a light of guidance, and a brick in the edifice of the great Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «When a son of Adam dies, his deeds are cut off except for three things: ongoing charity, knowledge that benefits, or a righteous child who prays for him» (Reported by Muslim). This hadith reminds us that what remains for a person after his death is what he has presented in his life of beneficial impact and righteous deeds, for this world is a farm for the Hereafter, and what we plant today, we will reap its fruits tomorrow. Let us strive to be among those who leave beneficial knowledge in the Ummah, and a blessed Da’wah from which generations benefit, and righteous offspring who continue on the path of truth, for this is the real investment that never loses.
O Allah, make us among those who listen to the word and follow the best of it, O Allah, make us among those who respond to Your call, and work to establish Your religion, and persevere until they see victory with their own eyes or meet You while You are pleased with them. Amen.
