In an expected move, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Muhammad Hamdan Daglo, was sworn in as president of the presidential council of the so-called parallel government, in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and the vice president, members of the presidential council, and the prime minister also took the oath. This step was expected as part of America's criminal plan to separate Darfur, by its agents from the military leaders, the Rapid Support Forces leaders, and political mercenaries.
