Since the ceasefire brokered by US President Donald Trump, Pakistan has expressed a strong desire to begin a serious dialogue with India on a number of security issues, including the future of Kashmir, de-escalating tensions on the Line of Control, and, most importantly, reversing India's decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, which provides Pakistan with about 80% of its water needs from three major rivers: the Indus, Chenab, and Ravi.
